A wellness co-op located in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina. This is a 21st century co-operative of experiential wellness involving health professionals in Acupuncture, Innercise (fitness/movement exploration), Massage Therapy, Life Coach, Reiki, Movement Education and Knesio Taping, and Aesthetics (skin care therapy). Rainbow Healing Hands, a rainbow of healing hands, offers a variety of doorways to "optimal health" featuring bodywork therapies found mostly only at major spas.
Services
Innercize was created by MaryAnn to bridge western and eastern styles of muscular conditioning and locomotor neuro-patterning. Through directed physical postures, movement patterns are recreated and neural pathways are opened to reactivate and reprogram the body for balance, co-ordination, flexibility and muscular strengthening.
Mary Ann is a licensed massage therapist, trained in Watsu. She taught and coached for 18 years at Spelman College, Oglethorpe University, Georgia Tech, and Western Carolina University. She has more than 25 years experience as an aquatic instructor. She realized a dream when she opened Rainbow Healing Hands as a wellness co-op in 2000.
