Divine Yoga And Massage

I did a drop in while visiting from Arizona and the vibe and community is so welcoming! I had the pleasure of attending the Basics class with Raime on a Saturday and LOVED how she encouraged us to embrace the process : the triumphs, the failures and being playful I highly recommend this studio!

I live 12+ hours away from the studio since I live in the lower Hudson Valley, so I just join virtually (I join from my university, SUNY Stony Brook, which is even more hours away LOL). Despite living over half day away, I quickly fell in love with all the instructors I've met plus their yoga sessions because they're SO friendly! My love for Metro Detroit forced me to randomly find this cute place kinda randomly, so I started joining virtually from SBU this past November, where most of my classes were hosted by Coco Keehl.

It's so sweet that she now knows me! I'm being kinda biased here but after joining so many of her yoga sessions, a very tough fall semester ended up working out well for me! I feel that if it weren't for these super sweet instructors, I would've been in utter depression the following weeks. Almost any time I join classes with Coco, I feel like crying just because she is one of the BEST yoga instructors I've had in my life!

With all these said, I would STRONGLY recommend Divine Power Yoga! You do not need to be from South Lyon, Novi, or any Metro Detroit area to join any of these super sweet classes, now that they have a virtual component! If I can join from Stony Brook University or anywhere in Long Island or the Hudson Valley, then ANYONE from ANYWHERE can join and gain so much inspiration from these instructors and classes! 10/10

Divine is my yoga home, and I am so blessed to be a part of the community. The instructors are kind, knowledgeable, and truly care about their students; Cheryl is a fantastic business owner, instructor, and massage therapist; and my fellow yogis are accepting, inspiring, and overall good people. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate what Divine has given me the past couple-ish years!

Cheryl is an amazing and knowledgeable massage therapist! Her technique incorporates slow precise pressured strokes with intuitive body work that comes from her many years of experience. If you've been struggling looking for 'just the right massage therapist' you will find that in Cheryl. My only issue is that my 60 minute massage ended too quickly, next time I'll definitely be scheduling a 90minute. (1st time customer)

So far I have been able to only do Zoom classes because of C19, but it's been a great experience. Coco has been a great coach! She's very encouraging, knowledgeable and inspiring. Yoga is really helping me with my back problems and helping learn to get in touch with grounding inner self. Thank you! I would recommend this place to everyone.

Divine is an absolutely amazing place to practice yoga. The teachers are so welcoming and support you in every way possible. Every single class holds something different and special. On top of this, you can always count on a wonderful community to encourage you to do your best. Everything about Divine is perfect and I cannot express truly how special this place is!

A deep tissue massage really gets in there and smooths out knots, so if I'm able to zone out during one I know it was a good massage. Cheryl knows what she is doing. The instructors there for Yoga are also excellent. They are so encouraging and always come up with new ways to help your practice. If you ever wanted just to try Yoga without judgement and a welcoming place, Divine Yoga is for you.

I can't say enough good things about Divine. I moved here from West Michigan and started taking yoga to eliminate stress, quiet my mind, and to gain physical strength. Frankly, I wasn't holding my breath for a small town studio, but I am so impressed. I leave every class so thankful for their existence. And why stop at the classes? I had my first massage with Cheryl last Friday and it did not disappoint. Professional, effective, friendly, fantastic. Of course I booked another one.

I had a massage yesterday afternoon with Angela for the first time. It was wonderful! She is attentive and talked with me first about what I was looking to get out of my massage experience, areas I wanted to focus on and the type of massage/pressure. It was exactly what I needed after travel to and from Chicago this weekend and this busy hectic month. The environment is warm and welcoming, the massage table warmed up nicely as well. Highly recommend both Angela and Cheryl, you will not be disappointed!

I had an incredible massage last night with Angela. She is a total professional. She asked questions before the massage to make sure she covered my needs. I was having neck/shoulder issue, from sitting at a desk all day, I feel so much better today. Not only is she awesome, the space is perfect. The decor, the lighting, and even the smells shout (in a zen like way) relax. Check them out, reasonable prices, considerate staff. They rock!
