Services
A 24 hour notice is required in the event you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment. If a 2nd missed appointment would occur, we would require full payment for that missed service. All cancellations need to be done via phone call. For the safety, consideration, and comfort of all our guests, no children under the age of 12 are allowed to attend appointments with a parent.

The atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxing. During both visits I was immediately offered a water, coffee, or comforting tea : My massage by Smitte was fantastic! She listened to what I needed and completely delivered a light therapeutic massage. I also enjoyed a fascial by Angelica who was very informative without coming across as simply a sales person. I will definitely be coming back!

Services Waxing: full leg, stomach, full arm, under arm Typically takes 2 hours to complete at other salons. I have been get waxing services for the last 15 years at multiple locations within Milwaukee but what happened this time was beyond my imagination, I have never had this type of experience. Never experienced this before where the strip is placed on the body and then multiple times (5 - 6 times) the strip is pressed into the skin and then removed.
This leads to skin peeling and becomes reddish. This has happened in 5-6 places. Hair is cut while removing the strip as she did not know how to wax properly and hence plucker had to be used to remove the leftover hair. Aesthetician was unable to see properly with the light being used. Hence she struggled to position it each time and complete the waxing in a certain area. Aesthetician was using a different gadget to note down messages during the service.
This happened during both the appointments. If time is a constraint, then why use gadgets for noting things down and waste time while performing a service. Appt time 6:45 to 9:00 pm. Started at 7 though. The room was kept at a heated level where it was very warm and uncomfortable. Services were not completely taken care of. Had to go again next day to complete the service. Had got a 1 hour appt. Took 80 min for full arm and underarm.
From 1:05 till 2:25. I have never had this type of experience for 6 weeks of hair growth. As for my leg hair growth, it would have been easier to do the waxing, but looks like these folks have not done waxing properly. The Aesthetician was even looking at skipping half of my upper hand as she was not visibly able to spot hair growth. My arms had just 4 weeks hair growth. Underarms had 2 weeks hair growth.
Stomach may have taken some time since I was 9 months pregnant so that I understand. So basically, since the 4 services were not completed on the same day, I was asked to come next day and for that duration I was charged extra 60 dollars. Also I was not even consulted to understand why the whole service took so long, and if anything was wrong. Nothing of this sort was talked about when they asked me to come the next day.
I was not even told that as the aesthetician is inefficient and taking more time, I would be charged extra for that. They told me that they would give me a complimentary facial next day which they gave. I had to pay extra for the discomfort and pain that was caused to me. Then after me giving them all this time when it is already uncomfortable for me due to being 9 months pregnant, I even had to pay for the inefficiency of the aesthetician.
I was even told that I should not have got my full leg waxed as it takes a long time. How is it that none of this is called out when you book the appointment. If the aesthetician can only do so much, then that should have been told to the customer before hand. You are asking the customer to pay more money for no fault of theirs and already a lot of inconvenience was caused with all the extra time that was spent in doing these services inefficiently.
They even has the nerve to tell that since I am from a different color, hence waxing takes longer. Last 15 years, never had I had such a bad and pathetic experience and even pay for the bad experience at any of the other places where I have gone. I have always visited saloons who have have always been rated between 4.5 to 5. I would have to say that nobody should visit this place for waxing as they do not know what they are doing here and their pricing is lacking clarity and hence one would end up paying more money unnecessarily.
They actually took advantage of a first time customer thinking that I have never had waxing done before. I have a very good idea of how much long a service takes for a decent aesthetician and this was my worst experience. I would never recommend this place to anyone who I know and would always ask them to avoid this place as they take customers for a ride.

Booked a spa day for 2 at Gaia Micro Spa and am leaving feeling completely pampered. We were greeted at the door by the wonderful Danielle. She made us feel very welcome and kept everything moving seamlessly & effortlessly. We started with getting into the most comfy robes ever, then taken to a relaxation area that was super chill. Tracy Ann did our fantastic facials.
The process was pleasantly aromatic and soothing. She checked in along the way and gave a great consultation both before and after. Our skin is radiant. We were them whisked off to spa pedicures. Kim was delightful and our feet look awesome! The pedicure chairs give excellent massage while getting our feet cared for. Still more! We did a scalp treatment.
Every shampoo/wet hair experience should include a fully reclining chair. It is the only way to have your hair washed. Also, just part of the shampoo process is a hand massage. Shannon and Tracy took great care with our treatments, providing friendly conversation along the way. Hair is shiny, soft, and smells great! We can't say enough about this day! So grateful to all the ladies at Gaia, including the owner, Kelly. She arranged a perfect visit. Highly recommend for day-to-day care or a full on treat to yourself.

Extremely disappointed in my manicure and our pedicures from June 4, 2021. The attached photo is how my manicure looked when I got home. The polish looks jagged and wasn't applied to the entire nail. My nails look like I have an old manicure that has grown out because the polish wasn't applied up to the cuticles. There is a gap between the cuticles and where the polish ends, leaving quite a bit of unpolished nails exposed.
I wasn't going to leave a negative review because the technician was very nice, but when you pay for a service it shouldn't be subpar. My daughter & I also had pedicures which were just as bad. We paid $130 plus a 20% tip and I feel very annoyed that they turned out this way. We had an event to go to the next day and I was embarrassed at how bad our nails looked. We removed the polish because we couldn't stand how bad they looked and it's only June 6th. What a complete waste of money.

I trust Lindsey at GAIA with all my hair needs. I always enjoy my appointments with her. She has given me amazing highlights/low lights, a beautiful hair style for my one year anniversary photos, and amazing hair cuts. She is professional, talented, kind, and a great conversationalist. When she was deployed and on maternity leave, I learned that there is truly no one like her. When I heard she was back, I was so excited! You can trust her with all your hair needs too. All the workers at GAIA are very welcoming!

I have been to this salon twice and will not be back. I am new to the area and have been looking for a stylist. My first appointment was cancelled as I was driving to the salon. They did call me back about an hour later and had an opening with Sam. I took the appointment, I had an event that night and needed a cut and asked for a blowout. She did an ok job and I decided to give her a second chance.
I went back to her for a color and cut. It took more than 90 minutes just to apply the color! I was in the salon for 3 hours! I showed her pictures of me as to what I wanted and she asked who was in the picture She did not do what I asked and was argumentative when I tried to explain to her what I wanted. I also had an eyebrow wax both visits. I feel like they keep the wax too hot. Yes, it needs to be hot enough to spread onto the skin but if it feels hot and leaves the skin red, it's too hot. They kept trying to add on items and sell me products She is a sweet person and it's clear that she takes pride in her work but 3 hours is unacceptable!

This was my first experience with a haircut at Gaia. I can honestly say that I was blown away. The service was great, the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. My hair turned out just the way I wanted it to. I was also pleasantly surprised when My hairdresser gave me a complimentary hand massage as I was waiting for my conditioner to set. I will definitely be back again and I will also be spreading the word about Gaia being THE salon to go to in Franklin!

After reading two of the three reviews about GAIA, I felt I had to comment. The salon is great. I'm not sure what happend with the two review in 2011 - but I've been going to this salon for over 10 years. The sytlists are very friendly and listen to what you want and also give great suggestions for style improvements or products that work well on your particular hair style. I've always been greated very pleasantly and had prompt professional service. The salon also is very involved in the community and participates in many charitible events. Give them a try - you won't regret it. Love the micro spa!

TERRIBLE. Because this salon was close to my home, I gave it a try for a quick service. The first few times I went, it was fine but nothing out of the ordinary and definitely not up to Aveda standards. The front desk workers are rude and make you feel awkward as you wait at a table with other guests. They will continue to gossip about other customers and complain about their jobs.
On the latest visit I arrived five minutes before my appointment was greeted by the rude man at the front desk. After waiting for over a half hour I was FINALLY seen by the stylist. She never apologized or acknowledged that I had been waiting for that long. The front desk person ignored me as I waited and he too, never acknowledged that I had waited that long. I will NEVER be returning.

This truly is a Micro Spa! I first went here when Mom got me a massage for my birthday a couple of years ago, and it was so memorable! Gaia is a tiny little hole in the wall in tiny "downtown" Greendale, but with big city service and a great decorator. So since I'm home for the holiday, I decided to try them for a new hairdo. and they did not disappoint.
Able to get me in on Friday morning, served me hot coffee when I walked in, and gave me a friendly stylist, which I love. All the Aveda products are here. On my walk back to Mom's, I snagged some fresh kringle and crullers at the nearby bakery, too. Could not ask for more! Thanks, Megan! Still looking good;
