I love getting massages at Carlson College! The massage room is divided into several stations, with minimal whispered discussion allowed, making the atmosphere extremely peaceful and relaxing.

Carlson College does a great job of preparing their students for their new careers. Their students are prepared to "hit the ground running" as soon as the student clinic is in session. I would highly recommend the graduates of Carlson College.

After looking into different massage therapy options in my local area, without a doubt CCMT was the perfect place for me. CCMT not only primarily focusing on massage itself won me over but also the scenic environment. It was beautiful for the six months I was there, peaceful, and the best place in my option to learn the craft. The instructors were wonderful, the hands on work was amazing :) (the best way I learned), and the material was just enough.

Between my peers and the instructors it did not take long for us all to feel like the closeness helped propel us into a family. I will ALWAYS and FOREVER cherish the moments at CCMT and the people I met there.

When I decided to goto massage therapy school I asked around. The answer was always Carlson. So I went to check them out, I did not schedule and appointment. The staff, instructors, and owner were super friendly and accommodating. I signed up and graduated 6 months later. Many places were willing to hire upon graduation, I chose to strike out on my own. They prepare you for whatever you choose. People recognize a Carlson massage! Highly recommend!

I never meant to become a massage therapist. But going to this school and becoming one has been the greatest joy so far in my life. Carlson has a unique program in which you are given the skills necessary to become an excellent LMT, but they take it one step further and help their people become championship people in life. Education is important, being a good human who can contribute to others' lives in a positive way is more important. Fantastic school with fantastic instructors, you won't find a better place to learn and perfect your massage technique.

My entire experience at Carlson College was inviting and welcoming. My massage therapist Isaac was incredibly professional and willing to work with me. I told him about some areas of discomfort and he composed a massage to include my concerns. The massage alleviated all of my back and shoulder pain and left me in a state of pure relaxation. This massage changed the way I see massage forever; this was truly a world class facility and training center. For only $35 the value is worth every penny!

I am not a Carlson graduate, as we didn't live here when I went to school. I have however taken several continuing ed classes there and have loved it! They are so organized, offer a variety of classes and the instructors have always been top notch. Chris, the director of the school will go above and beyond to make your experience there a great one! Thank you for having such a reputable facility so near.

I graduated from Carlson College of Massage in August of 2001. I have been a practicing therapist since that time. I think about this school, the other students, the teachers, what they taught me, so very often. I was older when attending and Ruth Carlson told our class: This will change your life in so many ways. I am humbled to say I doubted her (because I had already had so many life experiences), but have learned in these 18 years, this school changed my life so dramatically there are no words. I owe so much of my massage outlook and practice to this wonderful school.

I had the pleasure of attending the first part-time class and graduating in February of 2001. I loved every minute of living in Anamosa and attending classes at Carlson. The bond and friendship you develop with both fellow students and instructors lasts a lifetime. I live in Illinois where there are no other Carlson graduates practicing massage anywhere close by.

I am repeatedly told from my clients that they receive the best massage they have ever had. I 100% contribute that to attending Carlson College of Massage Therapy. I also have chosen to take many of my continuing education classes at Carlson. Any time I have a question I call and always get help with anything I need. I try to get to the student clinics not only to receive a wonderful massage but to also get the chance to visit and catch up with everyone! Massage therapy is one of the most rewarding careers you can choose and Carlson College of Massage Therapy is the BEST choice of school to start your career!
