I have lived in Kansas City for 6 years and still drove 3 hours back to my hometown for hair appointments because i couldn't find a stylists that worked for me closer to home. I am so happy I found Sopra! The salon is beautiful and I absolutely love my stylist Lindsey! So far I've only had my hair done at Sopra, but I look forward to trying their spa services. Thank you!

Jamie is amazing! Her customer service and knowledge is incredible. She loves what she does and is very passionate which makes her such an amazing stylist!

I recently moved to the Prairie Village area and had been looking for someone to get rid of my box dye and get me back to brown hair. I found Jenny on Instagram and contacted her immediately! And let me tell ya, she made my hair dreams come true! She was so welcoming, personable and knowledgeable! She made me feel comfortable and was just fun to be around! Tami is truly a gifted esthetician. I see her for dermaplane facials every 6-8wks and I look so forward to that hour, I'm almost sad for it to be over before it even gets started! Not only is it so relaxing I've actually fallen asleep a few times, but my skin has never felt better. Tami is so intentional with the products she uses and pays so much attention to detail. I've had many facials before finding Tami and now that I've found her I won't get a facial anywhere else :

Sammy is wonderful. Highly recommend her for cuts & highlights/color. She's so polite and kind and really listens to what I want, as well as offering ideas on what she thinks will work best with my type of hair. Her prices are lower than other places I've been to, but her work is stellar. I've had so many compliments on both my cut and color. The salon itself is very fresh and clean and modern. Parking is easy. And I really love that you can book appointments via text message- such a nice convenient perk!

I just visited their med spa last week and it was so nice, clean and everyone was friendly. I chatted with the front desk staff while I waited. I had a Botox service done and I LOVE it, I highly recommend them! It was my first time visiting this salon and from start to finish it was a great experience. I am definitely going back to this salon to try some other services they offer.

Sara is a miracle worker and magician. She somehow knew exactly what I was trying to explain and what would look good on me. She spent an entire hour and a half just cutting my hair! That has never happened before, and she had me keep checking the thickness until I was happy with it. She keeps up to date on hair trends too, so if you're not sure she can help out.

I moved to the KC area in May and have been in search of a good hair place to call "home" and I think I found it! The facility is very clean and pretty, the staff was friendly, and my stylist Ashley was amazing. She listened to me vent about the issues I was having with my hair, and found helpful solutions for me moving forward! I received a basic trim, but she also recommended adding a little bit of texture for my hair type. Although she is fairly new, she is very good at what she does! I feel refreshed and like the best version of myself now that my hair is clean and healthy!

I recently had two great experiences here At Sopra, first I had a haircut after over a year with Mary-Lynn and I appreciated how she listened to what I wanted and offered her professional advice so get the best final product I would be happy with. She was great, loved her technique and will definitely be back and see her. She did great with my hair and it's been a little over a month and my hair is looking great still.

My second visit was a wonderful and much needed prenatal massage with Kristen. This was my first prenatal massage, Kristen explained what I was to expect and gentle and through the whole time. I left feeling so relaxed and like a new person. It can be a bit scary getting a massage while pregnant but she is well educated and I felt at total ease with her. I'm plan on on giving back soon. Sopra is also doing amazing with all the covid restrictions. This salon And spa is worth visiting for all your Beauty And relaxation needs.

Let me start off with saying they're 100% on it with Covid safety procedures! I went in for a haircut with Mary-Lynn after not having one for a year. She listened to me, and gave great advice for what I was looking for. I love my haircut and gave me tips on how to style it without using tons of products and tools. The easier for me the better.

My hair still looks great and can't wait to be back soon in May for a trim again. I really appreciate a stylist who isn't pushy and listens to the client as well as give honest advice too. I defiantly recommend Mary-Lynn and the awesome Sopra Salon.

UH-mazing! My stylist Lo is an absolute queen when it came to breathing life back into my long overgrown locks (COVID and new momma)! The salon is a dream! I always feel so welcome! I walk out of there every time with an amazing end result. Lo is so talented and knowledgeable plus she actually listens! Go to Sopra, book with Lo and enjoy your amazing new do!

Sopra salon is so classy, and modern! It was so bright and beautiful inside while I was welcomed by so many workers, even aside from my amazing stylist. I felt so pampered getting a cut and color! I highly recommend this salon. I could tell you would be treated like royalty by any of their stylists. Mary Lynn Lynch was the one who helped me and my hair turned out better than I had hoped! Sopra is a must.

I had a great experience here! I followed my stylist (Lo) from a different salon. First of all, if you're looking for someone with the BEST personality and incredible attention to detail, you have got to give Lo a shot. I always leave feeling so good about myself (mostly my hair.) Also, this is a really great salon! It is clean and bright and the staff all seems very friendly.

I had to bring my two month old to my appointment today and even though she wasn't "perfect, " the other stylists were very sweet about it and didn't make me feel like a nuisance. I can't wait to try out the services they offer in the spa!

Such a cute salon with some of the best staff! The owner and stylists/massage therapists/estheticians truly care about the client experience. You can't go wrong with anyone here, however: Micala does a phenomenal job on eyebrows and skincare! Go check this place out!

Love this salon! The energy is so good and everyone is super friendly and helpful. Lo is my girl! I started coming to her with black hair that had been box dyed in the past. My hair was having a rough time and I wanted to get back to a natural look. She helped my hair look gorgeous for my engagement pics and styled it for my wedding dress fitting. Now I'm a blonde & she's made my hair look great in each transition. Such a kind, down to earth gal! Thank you Lo

Went here for the first time and will be going back! Jenny highlighted my hair perfectly! I showed pictures and explained the color I was going for and she nailed it. She explained to me different blonde tones so we were on the same page before starting. She's very nice and great at what she does. Salon is very cute and clean, looking forward to next time!

Came here for the first time today and Jenny was fantastic! My color was in bad shape from the stylist I'd seen previously and she made it look so blended, and there wasn't a trace of the previous poor highlighting job. It's a very nice salon and Jenny was very reasonably priced. Additionally, I'm growing my hair out and I've previously experienced stylists not listening to me when I say to only trim a half inch (because it actually NEEDS more) but Jenny did exactly what I asked for and respected the fact that I'm growing it out. I'll definitely be coming back to see Jenny again!

If you're thinking about going to Sopra Salon -DONT. Jenny completely ruined my hair. Picture one is how my hair use to look. I would get compliments ALL the time of how pretty it was (Jenny did not do this color). I just needed a quick little refresh and BAM I am now a tiger with fried ends. If I could rate this 0 stars I would. Okay. now back to crying my eyes out. Did I mention I have two weddings to go to?

So i started going to Sopra 3 months ago and was very nervous as i needed to find a new stylist. Jon is AMAZING! I have naturally Curly hair which i frequently wear straight. The cut he gave me makes me like my hair curly and my color is awesome as well. I've been doing red and it barely fades at all! SO pleased!

I tried for many years to make this my salon home. I don't have any real complaints about my services, but never felt I received the value of the premium price paid. Stylists and staff aren't super friendly and never made me feel welcome or like my business was important.

Made this my new salon when I moved back to KC after reading reviews. Love this place. Great atmosphere and service. I see Jon and he does a great job with cuts and coloring and baylage! I've been happy every time I've left and he's a super nice person! Highly recommend this place and Jon!

I saw Kristen here yesterday for a hot stone massage. The experience was incredible. She really listened and made me feel so comfortable, going away above my expectations. She even followed up with me giving me some stretches I can do to keep my muscles healthy. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be going back.

Quality, professional, semi-expensive but overall a good place to get your hair did. You know, I took some crap from my dorm mates in college because I insisted on going to a nice place to get my hair cut. They were of the old school, 50's style barber who has two haircuts in his arsenal: the "join the army" and the "you're going to join the army now" haircuts. I've never understood the places that advertise a $5 haircut - if you get a $5 haircut, you're getting a $5 haircut.

I took the abuse because contrary to their beer-commercial belief system, I wanted to always have a good haircut, especially since my days of having hair to cut are probably numbered anyhow. So over the years I've gone to nicer spots, like Sopra, and since I used to live close by this became my go to and has stuck for many years. The staff is nice, on the ball and professional.

They have taken the time to learn what I'm looking for and got it down so well that I barely have to tell them anything anymore. My main stylist, Amanda, is awesome and I always look forward to kicking back, relaxing and accidentally spoiling Game of Thrones for those around us. Good spot, and they do way more than cutting hair but that's all I've had here to date.

Got lucky and was able to get in the same day with a master stylist named Erica. I showed her four pictures of what I wanted and she gave me the best cut I have ever had and i am super picky when it comes to my hair. The owner named Cindy greeted me with a genuine and sweet smile. I love the atmosphere and customer service. the pricing is more than what a guy would pay for but its worth it because i got exactly what i wanted. I highly recommend this salon.

Lauren turned my ugly, messed up highlighted hair into a beautiful highlight and color that was EXACTLY what I wanted! She listened intently on the type of blonde I wanted to be - not full blonde, but just the right dimension of blonde and some low lights. She did phenomenal! And the price is right on target for what you'd expect to pay for highlight lowlight and cut.

I moved from Maryland 2.5 years ago and have been bouncing from place to place trying to find a stylist who can give me that blonde mix that I had back in Maryland for 10 years. I finally found Lauren due to a couple of posts on yelp, and I'm so grateful for those posts, which is why I'm giving my review as well! If you're struggling finding a good stylist, I can tell you Lauren will listen and do a fabulous job!
