Body Tech Massage Therapy

Would not recommend if you plan on billing insurance. I was in an auto accident and came across Body Tech as they said they bill auto insurance companies. This unfortunately was not my first auto accident, so I have seen massage therapists in the past for treatment and never had issues with having it covered through a claim. I settled my claim with the insurance company, which covered the dates of service that I had with Body Tech, but for some reason I was still left with a bill of $1,200 from this office.

I also wasn't aware of this fact until 5 months after I settled my claim. I was told by the manager Rose that for some reason they didn't pay for those treatments (even though it was approved and covered in the settlement) and that this has happened with a few other patients lately, for some reason. I worked for a medical practice for 13 years and this is due to the fact that they are either not billing correctly or they are not providing the insurance companies with sufficient clinical documentation or findings.

I have seen people in billing departments fired for this very reason. I should have done more research about this clinic because I found on yelp reviews, after the fact, that I am not the only person this has happened to. To make matters worse the way I was treated after realizing I have a very large outstanding balance was beyond awful by both Rose the manger and the receptionist, Barb.

After messaging back and forth with Rose and not getting anywhere as to why I am left with such a large bill when the insurance covered it in my settlement, I requested that she give me a call so that I can pay on my account. I never received a call from anyone to take my payment, but I did receive a letter from a lawyer weeks later. I called the office right away to ask why I would receive such a letter when I asked her to call me to get payment. Barb said they never received that message when the entire conversation is recorded and Rose said that Barb would be calling me.

Very unprofessional. I hate leaving bad reviews but I would like to prevent someone else from being left with a large financial burden that they will have to pay out of pocket simply due to the fact that they do not bill correctly. Not to mention being treated horribly. *Responding to Owners reply. Your office graciously discounted $300 off of the $1,200 which is 25%, the reason for that discount was that I paid off the balance in full.

I asked why is it that I am being charged what you bill to insurance (which is always higher) instead of the "Out of Pocket Price" and I was told by Rose that "We don't do that." I informed Body Tech that I was going to close my claim, prior to doing so. I even came in for a few treatments during that process and paid for those visits out of pocket, all which you have record of. I was seen for Chiropractic care by a different office during this same period, all appointments from that office were covered with zero issues.

This place is amazing! Ultimate massage and wellness treatment! I'm a weekly regular, since I found this place! I work construction, and I injured my back, and shoulders, months ago. They have ben very accommodating! providing some of the best massages I have ever had!, As well as getting you in when where you fit in. Scheduling and therapist are top notch!

All of the therapist here have ben properly trained and skilled. I have not had a bad massage from this place! I think I have had a massage by just about every masseuse here, except for maybe one. They are all amazing in their owne skill. True professionals! try it, You won't regret!

I have been getting massages here for over 10 years and I can honestly say I have never felt better in my LIFE. I have dealt with chronic back issues since childhood, on top of numerous injuries, and these guys have helped me live my very best life! I truly don't know where I would be physically without them. From their front staff, to their therapists, and the owner herself, they always provide top notch service.

They bill my insurance directly and it is a seamless process every time. I drive 2 hours (from a state away) just to see them, THAT is how good they are! Making that first appt with them was the best decision I ever made for my health and I appreciate them every single day!

Recieved a gift card from my daughter to get a 60 minute massage. Friendly staff. I think seriously that was the best massage I have ever had. The deepest tissue work I have ever had done. It hurt so good but was needed. I have so much tension in my shoulders and upper back. No one has ever just worked on that area before. I can't even explain how amazing i feel. Thank you Cory from the bottom of my heart I have not felt this good in a long time. People he's amazing.

My experience has been amazing with Body Tech. They are professional, friendly & knowledgeable. Barb was so helpful to me with getting my insurance processed & getting me scheduled quickly! I have the privilege of having Shelly work with me & she is amazing! Before I started going to her I had no relief from my herniated disc. Shelly has been a blessing! She is extremely good at what she does! I feel that she cares about targeting & treating my areas of pain. I am truly grateful for these amazing ladies.

Shelly was awesome. First experience at Body Tech Massage. My wife has been there and has been satisfied each time. They were very kind, very clean business and I felt very relaxes. Not something I typically get to experience. Thanks again Shelly, and welcome back to North Idaho.

Marisa is amazing! I've now been three times and she has been incredible. Communicative, ensuring great quality and what I really needed/wanted. Definitely recommend her. I've been to a ton of massage therapists in my life for muscle issues and she is top tier!

I've had multiple massages at Body Tech from a number of therapists - Raquel, Shelly, Bethany, and Marisa. They all all unique massages but amazing every single time. These have been the best massages that I've had. Every massage therapist makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. The Office is welcoming and friendly. I'd definitely recommend Body Tech & Wellness.

Not to be construed as medical advice or a guarantee, but my experiences should be considered if your searching for something more than just a quick massage. Two local surgeons told me I needed knee surgery and I would never walk without a limp until operated on and corrected. Ive also got a torn rotator cuff that will never heal, however the girls at Body Tech have been able to give me 100% mobility back.

Rose gave me two choices; stop working so hard, or schedule regular visits (I now go every month). Rose's unbelievable knowledge and her crew actually understand how your muscles work and how to correct the problems. Their skills, advice on how to self maintain and stretches have saved me from two miserable surgeries and I cant thank them enough!

Always reluctant with wellness venues, this place should set the standard. The hours are perfect for anyones schedule. The ladies are inviting and helpful. And the massage service had my husband leaving a happy person who suffers with chronic discomfort. We both have appts next week.
