Avoid this business. I bought a gift for my wife a cut and color. They gave her "rising talent" which is code for inexperienced stylist. She told her she didn't want it too short as she had a bad experience before and wanted shoulder length. She got chopped to her ears. The color was non-existent and she came home crying. The stylist told her try it out for a bit and come back if you don't like it.

She didn't tell her it needed to be 7 days. I called the following week to resolve it. The person set an appointment to fix it, didn't say I would be charged to fix it. The $235 cut color hack job was added to another $107. I talked to Brianna the manager who wasn't willing to do anything, neither was the owner. Now I see what the other poor reviews meant, what a nightmare, I wish I had never sent my wife here. Will never use them again.

The owner did my hair because there was a mixup with scheduling another client. It worked out for both me and the other client. The owner was very kind and made me feel comfortable about my hot mess of a hair situation. She did a really good job too and I paid less than I thought I was going to. Plus I received $20 off my service as a new customer. I also appreciated the drinks and snacks offered to me in the waiting area. I would definitely come back here again.

Have had great service from both Savannah and Megan here. Expert cut and truly a spa experience even for a haircut. I love the Aveda products, but it's the Aveda experience I go for. Service: Hairstyling

I had an amazing first massage at Rain with Jen today! Not only does she do a great job, but she is super down to earth and so nice! I loved the complimentary heated towels and steam shower! Can't wait to go back! Thank you Jen!

Savannah was amazing! The energy was great, everyone was helpful and the price was good. $50 for my trim, wash and style. She started with a shoulder and neck massage and then a scalp massage while she was e w washing my hair. It was very relaxing.

I had an appointment with Cam today and it was everything I hoped for! I came in to get my long hair cut which can be a nerve wracking experience and she absolutely nailed it! Now I know where I will go for a relaxing spa day! Rose was so welcoming and gave me a tour. There is a nice selection of Aveda products as well. I purchased a couple products and love them. I will be back soon for a haircut.

I had a facial performed by Randy and she was amazing! It has been years since I had my last facial and she was very informative on recommending products to use to help with problem areas I have and what to add to my skin routine. I have already booked my next appointment with her and plan on going back every month. I would recommend Rand my and this salon to anyone. All of the staff was very helpful and friendly.

I wrote a previous bad review about the difficult time I had with my daughter getting her hair colored. I reached out to the management and she was more than willing to make things right. Mechele graciously set my daughter up with Savannah and they both took the time to really understand what my daughter was wanting for an end result. Thank you so much for working with us. First time to this salon. My hair stylist was Savannah. I love my cut. I normally get my hair cut when it gets too long, but I really like how my hair looks now and will be back!

I wrote a review a few days ago, wondering if Rain was changing and hoping it would not. I was surprised to get a call from the owner, wanting to clear any misunderstanding. I am so appreciative that a business still looks and responds to any/all customers. I love this place for a reason. I will continue to love this place. Customer service is still very high on their list. That matters.

My husband and I had a great pedicure, first timers at Rain. The products they used far surpass others we've tried in the Valley. It was a great, relaxing experience. Makayla was great and I just rebooked with her for our next pedis!

I had not had a pedicure in SIX MONTHS. I am not ashamed to admit this since it's Covid-19 shutdown in California. But I came to see my brother and his wife and kids in Boise over Labor Day weekend. And I needed a pedicure. BADLY. I was fortunate to get an appointment at Rain Salon & Spa, which also has a salon, doing haircuts and other spa services.

My sister in law Tracy drove me here since her friend who is quite picky recommenced them. We entered and was treated to a socially distanced steam towel and hand sanitizer (which was great because no matter what I needed, I don't need Covid) and was graciously offered a beverage. We were seated and met the wonderful Natalie, my nail technician who was FABULOUS.

The pedicure was amazing and she didn't even make me feel like it's been 6 months. The service was efficient and very professionally done. I love the work and the atmosphere. The smell of Rosemary-Mint was wonderful and reminded me of Quail Lodge in Carmel, Ca Monterey Peninsula (home of Pebble Beach Golf Course). Relaxing and a true spa experience for such a convenience and without the $$$$ prices.

I was so pleased with the service and their kindness, I had to write a review and encourage everyone (since I'm sure they're guy friendly too) to give them a try. This was my first experience here in Idaho! I'm from DC, and after traveling 15 hours I needed some pampering. I'm a hair stylist back home, 10+ years experience, and let me tell you these girls made me feel like a million bucks. I have never had an experience like this before. I had just landed and checked into my hotel, and the first thing I did was book a blow out.

The whole staff at Rain did not disappoint from the moment I walked through the door. Brianna did fantastic blow out, had great conversation, and made me feel incredible even though I had the simplest of services. Kindra's scalp massage and hand/arm massage were just what I needed after a crappy day. Thank you all so much.

A five star experience from the time I booked my appointment online with Brianna. Being greeted and offered a drink for my short wait, discussing what I wanted and exactly what the cost would be to achieve it, the hand massage while my color processed. the salon is lovely, Brianna has a heart of pure gold. She made me so comfortable and her color and cut skills are top notch.

Best spa in Boise. They offer tea and water when you walk in and the tea is delicious and rejuvenating. I've gottan my hair done by multiple people there and they never disappoint. They are always positive and happy! This place is professional and relaxing. I highly recommend it.

If I could move this salon to my hometown I would do so in a heartbeat. I had to make an appointment since I had to travel there last minute missing my own. I was very lucky someone cancelled so I could squeeze in. Kinzie was my stylist and she was amazing. I got a color and highlights. I love it. There is no mystery to what the cost will be they are very upfront and I love the atmosphere. If I ever have to go through there again, I WILL be stopping in.

Saw Randi for a massage package and it she was absolutely wonderful. Although we got a late start (they only have one dressing room and it was occupied while I was waiting to go in) she tacked on an extra fifteen minutes to the treatment to make up for lost time. Everything from the oil journey and scalp massage to her attention to detail in my tense shoulders was amazing.

She was very sweet and made sure I was comfortable the entire. I loved sitting in the steam room after my treatment as well. The spa was clean, the customer service was great, and I left feeling like a new person. I can't wait to go back and see Randi again!

I have been going to Rain for about 2/3 years. 3 or 4 times the appts. have been messed up. Someone needs to have a class on paying attention. Katie is the best------- Julie is the best---------------- Front desk is the pits.

I received a gift card for Rain Salon and Spa for Christmas and finally got around to using it. I called and scheduled my appointment and because this was my first time I needed to complete some paperwork. They suggested I arrive 15 minutes early to complete the paperwork or it would dip into my 60 minute massage. I was there 20 minutes early because I want all 60 minutes being pampered.

As I completed my paperwork I was given a lovely tea and enjoyed the peaceful sounds of the waterfall. When the massage therapist came and got me she showed me the restrooms which are right outside the massage rooms. This is where I get frustrated and wonder who designs spas. Why would you put the only restrooms outside the massage rooms? The walls and doors are not sound proof so you hear people talking and doors slamming.

A location away from the massage rooms would have been ideal. The massage was relaxing and I was given great tips for helping with my back pain. I do however feel a little cheated as it was not the full 60 minutes I had dreamed about, it was 50 minutes. I checked the clock right as the therapist entered the room and then again when she left. I understand there is prep time, but the price for a massage you should be getting the full 60 minutes. I will be back as I still have more on my gift card and hope that I get to change my review to 4 or 5 stars.
