I went to this spa a few years ago for a couples massage with my husband. The lady did a great job on my husband, but the guy barely rubbed my back, and he even stopped in the middle of the massage asking the other therapist "Is this really okay?" He was very uncomfortable working on me with my husband present for some reason. Fast forward to 2022, I call to schedule in an appointment for another couples massage (why not, maybe that was just an off day for the massage therapists and it's been years.) I offered to reserve and pay the reservation in cash.

They were almost in disbelief when I told them my spa back home let's me pay and make reservations using cash. They declined my offer and told me unless I had a credit card I was willing to use, they would not offer their services. I never use my cards on vacation, we had an issue with someone getting our bank info the last time we took a trip to southern Indiana, I tried explaining that to them and they apologised but said that these were their rules. I understand not being able to go against company standards, but I do wish they could had been a bit more accommodating.

Very enjoyable! We were visiting from Colorado and just wanted a good facial, and my daughter (who lives in the dust bowl) got a very good cleaning, and so did I. It was SO relaxing and felt so good! Thanks to both aestheticians for their great work.

Spaah is a fabulous place in town for waxing! I have been going every months for 6 months now, and I always have impeccable service. Shoutout to Caitlin for being accommodating and helping me feel relaxed! She's the best! As for some of the questionable reviews about the cleanliness of the facility, I think it's just an older building for one.

I also think they are more eco-friendly and reuse (after washing, of course) towels, pillows, etc., so they may look a bit more "dingy" than a high scale spa. I have never been concerned with cleanliness at Spaah.

I love the services at Spaah! Reasonable prices and wonderful staff. Clarissa is amazing. I have been working with her for almost 4 months and she really understands what is needed to heal my medical condition. She has help make all the difference in my recovery.

I was appalled at my experience here. I received a deep tissue massage and upon walking into the massage room, the sheets were stained and had holes in them, the table was hardly padded and the padding stuck out of the disgusting sheets, the face hole for my massage was sheep's wool and smelled like one too many sweaty customers. On top of the extremely poor quality of everything in the room, the doors to the room are sliding glass doors which are only covered by curtains, some of which are see through! As a young female this felt very concerning and frankly illegal. However, I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the massage therapist was very nice and the massage was decent.

I was treated courteously and professionally. I was taken into the massage room soon after arrival and given explicit instructions. I was asked about any trouble spots or areas I needed to be worked on. The massage was wonderful and I scheduled another before leaving. Clarissa is wonderful!

Booking is very convenient and easy. The staff and therapists are extremely friendly and helpful. The therapists are always willing to work on specific areas, such as my neck, shoulders, or legs. I always leave feeling loose and relaxed. They are my go-to for massages in Bloomington.

The massage was just what I needed. Staff were friendly and attentive. The parking lot is a little stressful - as it's so small with limited spaces. The room was also right next to the restroom, and the walls seem quite thin. Overall, still a good experience. I will return in the future.

First time at Spaah. I booked a deep tissue massage for my friend and I, to have a nice relaxing girls day. Looking forward to this all week, sadly, neither one of us received a deep tissue massage. Afterwards, (in the car) talking about our experience, we both agreed, at best, it felt more like a mediocre at home massage, than professional. Side. note.

By mistake we parked in the W. Second Street parking lot, and had to walk around the front part of the building to get to the S. Rogers Street entrance. we literally walked through trash (A LOT OF TRASH!); including diapers, feminine napkins, saturated clothing, and multiple used syringes. Not a good look for a day spa. I'll never recommend this place, nor will I ever go back.

I wanted to like this place. This was several months ago, but I got a massage I thought would be focusing on my neck and shoulders. I requested for heavier pressure. What I got was a very lukewarm massage in no particular focused area by a lady who was minimally friendly, almost reluctant. I don't even know what kind of technique she was using. It was some awkward, light, fast circular motion with her thumbs. I hope there are other massage therapists who more what they're doing. Massage Envy was miles ahead of this place.

Clarissa is the BOMB! She beat all the kinks out of my shoulders and got rid of my headache!

We had a couple's massage with Bianca and Josh. It was wonderful! Incredibly relaxing. We both suffer from chronic back pain, and we left there virtually pain free! We will definitely be repeat customers.

Received as a surprise from my husband. First time visiting any type of spa, not exactly what I expected. The services I received were a facial, massage, & pedicure. All 3 services were great quality & very professional & would definitely recommend to everyone. The staff were all friendly & welcoming making it easy to completely relax. My only complaint is that The building (inside & outside), location did not meet the standards of the quality of service & services offered & definitely the price.

I parked in the lower lot by accident & out front was bags of trash & old food containers everywhere from the homeless I assume they were located in the backside of the building & do have a separate entrance & parking lot though. From the moment you walk inside It felt very much like a dr office with the tile floors & pale walls, glass sliding door rooms, & the bathroom. Could easily be a 5 spa if the building & location were upgraded & not so cold.

Thank you so much Bianca! I have barely been able to move for a week. Her talent freed me up to where I don't even know my back. is back there! She was also extremely friendly and personable. The Esthetician was great too. She recommended a better treatment for my skin than I had booked. Which is so Awesome that she had the professionalism to recognize and perform the best service for me.

As a spa person myself I appreciated that they were not at all pushy. but I also think you could increase income by offering to upsell product and services. Since it was my first time there I booked without knowing all options. Absolutely, NO complaints though!

Would be *at least* four stars for me, but. we paid for a 60 min couples massage and got 45 min massages in separate rooms. expectations> reality. (the skill of the masseuse was fantastic)

I had a really bad experience. Love the lux pedi, wax & facial. Hated the massage. It was not worth the money

Loved the inside of this place. The environment was very peaceful, respectful, and relaxing. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Massage was quite nice. My only issue was the traffic outside of Rogers and 2nd street. You could easily hear louder trucks and whatnot that might break through your relaxation. Other than that I had a great time and would recommend for future visits.

I finally made time to check out the new Spaah location and well. I was unimpressed. The place felt sterile and cold. No soft lighting or warm decor throughout the place. I was shown to my massage room which was right by the front door and receptionist desk, not ideal, but I trusted it would stay quiet. But what I didn't expect was the see through curtains I was expected to change behind.

I spent a couple minutes fiddling with that to ensure no one could see in. The room lights were left In the entire time I was face down, then turned off when I was face up. Did not like that one but as I came in for a migraine and was hoping for the quiet darkness would help. I told my massage therapist a few times about my headaches and yet, she barely even touched my hair line.

That was the most disappointing I think. When the massage was over I rolled up to get dressed and was startled to see two blood marks on the table. was that from me? No. It was old and dried and idk what it was but I took a picture. This was not how I wanted to end a massage. For a new location with good advertising, I'd think you'd want to show people the best of the best, but this felt the exact same as going to someone's small office for a massage. No brand, no uniforms, no warmth. I didn't love it and I won't be back.

I love this establishment. Appointment started and ended perfectly on time. Kristin is the consummate professional! The perfect way to relax.

I called on Saturday to get an appointment and verify the value of my gift certificate. The lady on the phone was nice and accommodating. I scheduled my treatment for Monday afternoon. I received a reminder call from Jane on Sunday. Between Saturday and Monday the price changed again, even higher than what was quoted on Saturday. There was apparently no record of the person I talked to on Saturday.

On Monday the older lady at the front desk was rude when I told her of my conversation on Saturday. Given the confusion over the value of the gift certificate I would not recommend anyone buy one of those. The young lady that performed my service was very nice and I tipped her. I would not return to this business.

I really enjoy all the services here. Although I haven't had a massage from everyone, Bianca and Victoria are great. Amanda and Catlin both do amazing eyebrows. I'll definitely be back.;

A quick massage was all I've experienced at this new location across from the hospital. I used to frequent the prior location, which was much more aesthetically pleasing and relaxing. Upon walking in here, one is greeted by medical looking sliding glass doors to each of the massage rooms. The lobby and waiting area is bright and very white. It's startling.

It's obvious that it used to be a medical treatment center. I think it could be softened considerably by using pink florescent bulbs, and/or floor lamps, sounds of serenity, a waterfall and window treatments outside of each of the massage rooms (to soften the view upon walking in). This first impression is important to return business.

Victoria is amazing! I always go to her when I need a massage!

I had a completely enjoyable and fun visit in a stress-free atmosphere. Staff were friendly and professional. Loved my visit.

11/10 would recommend! I got a Brazilian and upper leg wax, and I had never gotten one done before. I was super nervous, but the lady at Spaah helped me feel calm and at home. The waxing room was very nice, . offering a sound machine and an essential oils diffuser. The waxing itself was done extremely well and professionally. I will definitely be coming back.

My husband and I love the Spaah! Rodney won't let anyone else take care of him other then Judy! She takes great care of him. I love Tana and Joshua both! I highly recommend making an appointment.

All the staff are very customer focused, friendly, and inviting. The atmosphere is relaxing and refreshing. I have experienced massages, mani-pedis, the sauna, the jetted tub, and facials over the years, and enjoyed every moment!

Beautiful facility, so clean and very relaxing and welcoming. I had a massage from Judy and it was AWESOME! I am disabled and suffer with chronic pain and she was gentle and thorough. Loved it! Wish it could have been longer. The owners are very kind and genuine. I would definitely visit again and will as soon as I can!

This place has a wonderfully calm ambience. My husband I went for a couples massage and it was a great experience! We had Samantha and Victoria and they were two of the best massage therapists we've had in a long time. They created a custom massage for each of us. The room was nice and cozy with comforting music playing in the background. Also, before the appointment, they offered a variety of tea and water while we waited. We will definitely be back!

I love the spaa. The atmosphere is nice the massage is very good. I like it that use towels for drying hands in the bathrooms. The waiting room is fine and they always offer water. The massage rooms are very private and beds comfortable. The only drawback is the noise from the traffic can be heard in the massage rooms.

My experience at Spaah was Ahhmazing! I have actually been here a few times before. I brought my entire bridal party for massages and mani/pedis before my wedding a few years ago. I have been working like crazy lately, my entire body hurt and I remembered I had a gift certificate for Spaah! I called on Sunday and they were able to book me for Monday!

When I walked in the woman at the counter already had my paperwork ready, moments later my therapist Judy came to get me. She was very nice and accommodating, to begin she placed a lightly scented towel over my eyes which i thought was lovely. I was pleasantly surprised that the lotion they used was scented, since usually its unscented unless you do aroma therapy.

I loved the scent and it was very relaxing. Judy was wonderful, she is one of those therapists that makes an hour seem like so much longer, it was great. The only negative is they are located right off walnut and sometimes you can hear a loud vehicle go by. They do have relaxing music playing to help drown out outside noises. I will definitely go back and ask for Judy!

I'm totally impressed with the follow-up I have received regarding my visit to Spaah. It's obvious they are constantly seeking ways to keep the client's experience top-notch. I'm looking forward to scheduling a return visit soon.

I won't be returning to Spaah. I had a gift certificate for a massage and mani pedi. The massage was pretty good, but the facilities there are so lack luster, it is not relaxing. The not very cute bathroom was dirty, and the whole building was so cold because it was January and the building doesn't seem to be well insulated. My manicurist/pedicurist was late, and reeked of cigarettes.

Throughout my manicure I could hear the desk staff gossiping-- also not relaxing. There is no relaxing place to wait for your nails to dry, so I had to sit in the lobby to let my fingers and toes dry-- where an old man tried to strike up a conversation with me, not to mention my toes were freezing in my flip flops. So I ruined my manicure and pedicure by putting my shoes on before everything was dry, just so I could get out of there faster. Overall, not relaxing atmosphere, poor facilities, and unprofessional service by the manicurist.

This is the most professional place i've been to. Bianca did incredible work and really focused on my main points, she really went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. i will definitely recommend her to my friends and i will be back for sure

Bianca did amazing work on my upper back and legs, as requested. The bed was heated, the music was very calming, the lotion smelled great. The deep tissue massage started with milder, longer strokes and ended up with knots unraveling pretty much everywhere! I highly highly recommend this place.

OK I really wanted to like this place. I had massages for my daughter and me and when we got there the lobby area was fine. that was all though. The guy (had requested a woman) who gave me my massage was sick! He coughed and sniffled and sneezed and complained the entire time! I was cold in the room and then with him being ill and complaining about how long he had to work that day and weekend, I could not relax. My daughter said her massage was just meh. I will NOT go back here and couldn't wait to get out and wash the germs off myself!

Spaah hosted our bachelorette party celebration and it couldn't have gone better. The staff immediately offered to help us set up and went above and beyond in every way. Donna got all 12 of the girls into the service and time that we wanted and all staff were phenomenal. We would recommend anyone to host their party at Spaah!

Avoid getting anything waxed here at all costs. I would give a rating of no stars if it was an option. First, the esthetician was 20 minutes late, because she was just putzing around in back. I had to ask the receptionist to go look for her, because even she was clueless. I went in for a basic bikini wax, and walked out with holes in my skin. The "esthetician" first blamed it on me, asking me if I was sure I wasn't taking any acne medication.

Of course I was sure; I wouldn't have lied on the intake form. She then proceeded to charge me the full amount, pretending like nothing happened. I should have spoken up and refused to pay, but I was too upset. It put a damper on my vacation, since it hurt to even walk. I will never be coming back here.

I went here as part of a wedding party as a surprise treat for massages. I was actually having a ton of neck pain from the hotel bed, so it was totally a wonderful surprise. The spa is incredibly relaxing. I don't often get massages but the masseuse definitely helped me out. Before this, I was having trouble holding my neck up straight, and after I could actually use my neck like a normal person.

I wish I had used more of their services. So I can't speak to those, but I'm going to buy my mother a gift card and I'll update if she uses it for more than just the massage.

Attended an anniversary event at Spaah and received a fantastic massage! Clean, personable, atmosphere is inviting, and the owner, Donna, is a sweet lady. AND who doesn't love a quirky name! Definitely give this place a try. Located near the Square in Bloomington where there's also many local eateries.

I was actually unsure, based on the reviews, if I wanted to try this place out, but the other spas in town are either connected to a noisy hair salon or extremely expensive. That's one plus of this place, the prices are relatively affordable in comparison to a lot of other spas or spa services in this town. When I went, I had my eyebrows done, did the 1 hour "take a break" bath soak, and a 1 hour massage.

The eyebrow service was just okay--not really any different or anything special from getting my eyebrows waxed elsewhere, although the lady who did them was very nice and easy to talk to. As soon as they left me for my bubble bath, however, I started getting into the spa experience. I absolutely ADORE jacuzzi baths and this one did not disappoint. Plus, you get an hour soaking in your choice of bubble bath or bath salts!

Pretty good. I just kicked back and relaxed. Finally, the massage. This is where I was a little bit hesitant because most massages I'd had in the past (before my one at Spaah) were uncomfortable and not at all relaxing. This one was completely amazing. The masseuse talked to me beforehand about what I wanted: where to focus on, how much pressure to use, etc etc.

She spoke a little bit during the massage but not conversational--only to ask if I needed adjustments and that sort of thing. And then she followed everything I said. Afterwards I felt amazing. Complete win! From what I can tell from the other reviews, this place is probably hit or miss depending on the staff you get. I'm booked for a second experience later this summer (pedicure, peel, bath, and body treatment) and I'm psyched to see how it goes.

I enjoy having relaxing time. I love the massage therapist & staff at Spaah all of them are friendly & cheerful. Very tranquil atmosphere!
