Please note: We do not add tips to credit cards or accept tips via Venmo, Paypal, or Zelle. Please tip your stylist in cash. We require 48 hrs notice when changing or canceling an appointment. If you cancel or no show after this period you may be charged 50% of the services you booked. Thank you for understanding that your stylist's time is valuable.

Biggest tightwad rip-offs I've ever seen in the salon industry. Cant keep an employee for longer than two months and essentially charge by the minute for a low quality service. These people think what they have to offer is unique and valuable- you can get better service for 1/3 the price and you won't be disrespected by girls that are burnt out on life the entire time. Entitled scammers.
Watch that these girls don't start working at medical spas doing Botox injections soon- which is where this rip-off industry is headed. I wouldn't be surprised if they already do.

Favorite salon I have ever been to, I've been a customer for three years and I won't go anywhere else. All the staff is amazing from the moment you walk in. Even before Covid, it's one of the cleanest salons. They now have extra precautions for health and safety that I really appreciated. The staff always goes above and beyond, I appreciate the individualized attention and care they give. I always feel like the best version of myself when I walk out of the salon. Thank you Girasole!

The salon is beautiful and the owner has gone to great lengths to make sure it is clean and safe after re-opening.

I love Girasole & the very talented team that works there. Rita has been doing my hair since 2006 & She is Amazing. My color always looks amazing & I get so many compliments. Kim usually cuts my hair & she is so nice & always leaves my hair looking so healthy. Great friendly and extremely talented stylists at this salon. Danielle is my colorist and i wouldnt know what to do without her as shes so beyond amazing at her job. And also incredibly kind and sweet. I have very long blonde highlighted hair and only trust her to do it. The staff is friendly and during covid they have always taken such great measures to ensure the clients are safe with safety plastic guards up on each station and checking temperatures and seating people further apart and not filling the place for everyones safety. Much appreciated! Overall great service and great salon.

I have been using this salon ever since my hairdresser, Mary, began working there many years ago. The salon itself is beautiful and clean, and all of the people working there are professional and friendly. Mary is a wonderful hair stylist, not only because she does it all (cut, color, style), but also because she is a good person, and I have really enjoyed talking with her all these years. I highly recommend this salon!

I got a cut and style from Allison and couldn't be happier! As a cut-phobic person who always leaves salons with shorter hair than I wanted and a style I'm not happy with, Allison was patient and listened to exactly what I wanted. Salon was clean and social distanced and the entire staff was friendly.

FINALLY was able to get my hair cut and colored after quarantine 2020. Thank god for Lisa at Girasole. She got me in quickly and did an amazing job as always! Lisa has been cutting and coloring my hair for the last 4 years and I am never disappointed! The salon has all required guidelines in order; limited customers and staff, infection prevention is in place and the salon was sparkling clean as per usual. Staff is bubbly and friendly as always and all excited to be back to work! Love this full service salon. Great location right in the middle of Babylon village.

Today was my post-COVID closure appointment. It was of course fantastic. Danielle was not coming back in for awhile so I was set up with Rita for color. Let me just say she is fantastic. Listened to what I wanted and 100% delivered! I only do color today and didn't blow dry there but when I go home I air dried and was so happy as all the beautiful refreshed tones showed up! Anna washed me again-she's great as always.

I absolutely love Marie! My feedback is that I should have been informed beforehand that there would be no blowout. It was not in the email or phone call I received prior to my appointment. I was not prepared to go home with a wet head. I had plans to go out but was delayed because I had to blow out my hair at home. And I paid the usual 60 dollars even though I did not receive the usual service. I understand due to current circumstances restrictions are in place but a heads up would have been appreciated.

I've been going to Girasole for years and they always provide wonderful service. I always see Mary and she does a wonderful job. She gave me the push to try out a new color a few years ago and I've loved it ever since. She always does an amazing job and my hair comes out perfect every time. During this crisis, the salon is doing everything they can to ensure both their clients and staff feel safe during the COVID crisis and trying to provide a sense of normalcy. Things were a little different, but both the salon and Mary made it a comfortable experience.

After moving to Brooklyn from the area, I still make the trip back home to Babylon for an appointment. Mary is she superbly talented and ALWAYS blows me away every time with what she does (no pun intended) and she is just an overall wonderful person. Rita has been coloring my hair for years. When she changed salons I of course followed her and I'm so glad she picked this place. They girls are all so nice and sweet. Your able to schedule apts online which is super convenient for me. And they have late hours. The girls are super talented and have constant training classes they attend. If your looking for a change and want people who know what they are doing, go make an appointment!

I have come here a few times. The last time was the final straw, and I will not return or recommend Girasole. I wanted to turn my blonde hair back to chocolate brown - a task that was VERY easy - or so I thought. My hair was black with an orange tint to it. I was in a rush once my hair was semi dry, and didn't notice the color until I was home.
I couldn't trust these people again to do something to my hair. So I had to go to another salon where they had to do tons of work to get whatever color this woman put in my hair. AWFUL experience.

Don't go to this place, they don't respect their customers. On my very first visit, they sneakily switched my appointment to a "junior stylist" without letting me know. Things ended up a mess, and a simple haircut took over an hour! They did have a more experienced stylist "fix" it afterwards, but my hair ended up shorter than ever, and they up-charged me to the price of the higher paid stylist!
