We are happy to be getting back to a little bit of normal in our salon. If you have come in for services during the past 18 months, we hope you have noticed and have felt safe with the health and safety guidelines we have had in place. While some of the tight restrictions have loosened, we do require that all unvaccinated guests wear a facial covering while inside the salon. You will notice many of our staff members continue to wear face coverings because the "indoor recommendation" is still in effect at this time.
Services
There will be an added charge for long hair services, please advise the desk staff if you have long hair so the appointment can be booked accordingly. Color Correction Must have a consultation appointment before service can be booked or pricing quoted. Typically requires a lot of time and can require multiple applications.
Please note: There are times during business hours when our front desk must close unexpectedly due to staffing issues, this does not mean the salon is closed for scheduled appointments. We have a general voicemail box enabled for anyone that wishes to leave a message during these times and also for after hours. We check these messages regularly.

It was a very basic service and not worth the money. They don't know how to style hair with a blow dryer. If you got a frizzy hair your only option is to straighten it. I asked for volume style using a blowdryer but they did not understand. They are friendly though. But I would Recommend this salon for basic things like hair cutting or trimming but not for styling! I will not visit again because I was not satisfied with my hair styling.

I want to give a shout-out to the fabulous stylists at Allure Salon Professionals! I have been a client for over ten years. I was referred there by family friends who have been clients for more like 20 years! I think that says a LOT. I have always enjoyed my cut and color over the years. As my preferences have changed over the years my stylist Jodi has always been able to work with me to get the look I want.

The atmosphere of the salon is positive and enjoyable and the front desk staff are awesome and friendly. I look forward to many more years of hair care at Allure Salon Professionals! - Elizabeth Huggett

Absolutely fantastic salon experience for my first haircut in 6 months. The scheduling process was easy over the phone and I was able to make an appointment within a week or two. Erica was my hair stylist and she delivered on just what I had envisioned for my hair trim with layers and partial highlights. The salon ambiance was relaxing with good music and decoration, even with regulations for COVID in place. The best part was Erica's friendliness and pleasant conversation. I recommend this salon experience to anyone in the Kalamazoo area!

Chrissy Weller has given me so many A+ haircuts! Her cuts are very flattering to my face, and they fit my lifestyle. When I'm in a hurry, the "hairdo" almost styles itself. On other days, I can put in more time and effort to enhance the style. My DH is very particular about his cut; she gives him exactly what he wants. As a bonus, Chrissy is a really nice person, making for a thoroughly enjoyable experience!

Around 2015 I got a cut and color here and it wasn't a good experience. When I arrived, the stylist was working on someone else. I was never given a full answer about when my appointment would start or finish. The stylist had somewhere to be before I had class so that was the only time frame I was given. The problems I had with the cut and color were mostly due to my stylist getting distracted by other people she was working on at the time and the fact that she had somewhere to be later.

I was polite and didn't want to cause a fuss but it did bother me. My hair was cut uneven and the color turned out wrong. Now that's something that most stylists would fix later on but what happened next made me never want to go back again. At the end of the appointment I asked how much it cost. No one would give me a straight answer until the end.

What they did is look at my gift certificate and say that it wasn't enough. When I looked at the receipt after, the certificate was enough plus a 20% tip. So I ended up giving her a 40% tip without realizing - when I wasn't even satisfied with the service. A friend of mine used to go there often until she decided to stop dying her hair. Once she stopped dying her hair, the stylist who she really enjoyed going to - no longer had time for her for simple cuts.

You may be wondering why i'm reviewing so late, it's because I was respecting my friend who went there continuously. I didn't want my situation to reflect on her business with them. But now that she doesn't go there anymore I don't feel wary about posting this. Unless you have bucket loads of money to demand a stylists full attention, this place isn't a good salon.

I made an appointment here last minute (I picked this place becuase it was close to my house) the receptionist was friendly. I got my haircut by Anna, she was friendly and efficient. I was in and out in 30 minutes, and this is the best haircut I have ever had. I would definitely recommend Anna, she really did a great job
