This is my go to place for massages. I've always had excellent service and the massages are always so relaxing. I've done a couples massage with my fiance, individual massages for myself, and recently a prenatal massage that was amazing. Prices are the best I've found and they even offer a discount if you pay in cash. It's run out of the owners townhome, but the setup is very nice and relaxing. I'm a loyal customer and recommend to all in need of some relaxation.

Where do I start. Upon walking into the townhouse, you are greeted with a dingy sofa, in an unkempt living room that doesnt look clean or fresh. The space does not look like spa at all. There was also a small white dog on the premises. I love pets just as much as the next person. However, not when I pay for a relaxing spa experience. Overall, this is not a professional space, nor is it spa like in ANY way! This is a NO GO!

Today was probably my fifth time coming to Lynn's at their location at Elliot Oaks road and my experience was wonderful. The prices are great (they also provide a discount for those who pay in cash). I was given a very relaxing massage that made me fall asleep for a bit. I also found out they have a package for a massage and facial combo, so I will definitely be returning.

Lynns has moved again and is in my 3rd location since going to themThis location is now in a townhouse that smells like a dog. There is a small dog in the townhouse which was friendly but I wasn't pleased to see it. The space is not relaxing at all although they tried. The quality of this spa has significantly gone down with the location alone.
I won't be going back until they return to a building structure focused on tranquility and relaxation like it used to. My massage was good but I kept smelling a dog scent and was really ready to go. My facial was heavenly. I could've done without the body steam. The apparatus i sat in looked like a body cubby that went up to my neck while steam wet the right side of my body.
The left side never really got wet and everything beneath my knees was dry. Not to mention i sat on a foot stool covered with a towel. Sigh. I'm disappointed, and now need to find a new spa.

I go there for some waxing stuff. The prices are fair and they can usually get me in same day. I am usually in and out in 15 minutes. They do need a bit of professionalism on the phone for making appointments. They don't seem to be trained very well. I can overlook that side of it as long as I get what I want done.

Worst place ever for customer service, My daughter in law and I had appointments for a massage and facial. We had to cancel due to a medical emergency. Mind you she was my ride their. I was told that my $200 gift certificate was void if I did not show up. She was told that they would honor hers only. We had previously gone for the same treatments in 2009 and the services were shabby at best.
However my son had purchased the 2 gift certificates as Christmas presents again and we decided to use them. We called and could not get a hold of anyone and found out later that the spa had burned down. Finally a year and half later we make appointment and canceled 23 hours before the appointment due to bad weather. I rescheduled the appointment at that time and we canceled due to the above medical emergency.
We were told my certificate was void if I could not make the appointment and they would honor hers. When she called back to make her appointment she was told the certificate was from 2009 and they would not honor it, she told them that was from the 1st time we had been their, even though she had spoke to her a few months earlier and Shannon had looked both certificates up and said they were valid.
Now she's trying to say the certificates are from 2009. This place is now in a townhome and from the other reviews I read I would never go here afraid I would catch a disease or something. Overpriced and horrible service at best is what to expect from Lynn's Day Spa.

Same day service on a massage and facial. I enjoyed both services equally but if you had to choose try their facials. Please note, they are located in a townhome converted into a day spa, follow the bushes around the corner for the door. Con: I wish they had aromatherapy during treatments and offered tea and coffee.

Stay away from this place! Seriously.this was the worst massage experience I have EVER had! Their temporary space (this is their 2ND fire) is an unattractive house with oddly placed furniture.the hot stone burned me (I do not have sensitive skin and this has NEVER happened).she ended up just skipping the stones for a sub par massage) so I cut it shirt by fifteen minutes.
To top it all off they refused to accept the SpaWeek gift card despite their company showing up on the website advertising the companies who participate with them. Seriously. STAY AWAY!

Absolutely the BEST message I've ever head. Walked in feeling like the world was on my shoulders and left feeling like a million bucks. So Lynn's Day Spa burnt down so we were at one of the owners house I believe but you would never had thought it the way they have it set up just like if you were at the spa. I will be returning next month. Look no further and come get your massage here.

I felt the need to post a review after being treated unprofessionally there. The front desk staff was quite rude to me, after scheduling me with someone else. When I said I was not told about the change, she said she "made it clear to me on the phone and I still have to pay." Complained to manager later and was told they can pull the recorded phone call to see if I was told.
Not sure calling your customers liars is the way to improve service. Bottom line, Lynn's could learn a thing to two from one of their neighboring businesses, Nordstroms.

Some people complain about this spot. They state that it's not very upscale. However with the pricing what do you really expect.? This place is priced very well. And if you use cash it's often even less expensive. It is not the most up scale place I will admit however I come for massage not to hang out in the waiting room. I have gone many many times throughout the years.
And it took a little bit of time but I finally found my go to masseuse. Her name is Lena. She is amazing. Seriously! I love her. She makes nurse feel like new after a 12 hour shift. She uses just the right pressure and have excellent techniques. She's also a lovely woman to just chat with during the massage. I really could go on and on about her. But take my advice and visit her yourself.

The facials here are actually amazing. So, why one star? Because I had a full body massage, and kept hearing buttons being pushed. After about TWENTY (yes, I waited 20) minutes, I asked the masseuse if she was texting. I hear a thump, and I realize she's dropped her phone to try to hide it. When I try to leave, the people at the front refuse to let me talk to the manager/someone higher up.
After I finally manage to twist their arm into calling someone, the lady I spoke with didn't seem to care that this happened, and offered a generous "you don't have to pay for the massage" -- well, no kidding, I wasn't planning on it. Sorry, any spa that not only favors their employees but also finds a way to not seem to care about customer retention is not a spa worth your time.

-- - - - - - - - - - WARNING--- - - - - - - - - I called to inform them I was running 10 minutes late to my appointment, they offered to reschedule me later that day, which I was going to accept but to my shocking surprise they insisted that I pay the first appointment in full prior to rescheduled the new appointment. After being pressured I ended up paying them $20.00 for what ended up being a missed appointment, they stated that was company policy.
Their is no sign? My husband, 2 daughters and I will no longer be patronizing Lynn Day Spa. We were loyal customers for years! Terrible break up, I'm extremely hurt and disappointed.

Mixed. The women's bathroom in the entrance of the day spa was neglected, there was no toilet paper in 2 of the 3 stalls, the 3rd stall was plugged up with toilet paper, one of the drains was plugged in the sink and one of the faucets didn't work. The girls behind the counter were uncaring and irritated when I mentioned the condition of the bathroom they said it wasn't their responsibility but that of the property management company.
The couches were comfortable while waiting but there was no hot tea or cucumber water to drink other than make it yourself tea. While the overall spa lacked ambiance and professional styling the rooms were warm and inviting. Our group of 4 had mixed reviews with only one very skilled massage therapist out of the group -- Ask for Gil if you go. I highly recommend her.

Awful. I've gotten a number of massages and used to frequent Lynns regularly. Usually you feel relaxed after a massage but I felt AWFUL after mine. I came in with no pain whatsoever and left with a headache and a sore arm. I will never go back. It was if the masseuse was trying to hurt you rather than trying to relax you. it wasn't even a deep tissue massage!

Add me to the list of dissatisfied customers. My husband purchased me a gift certificate here a couple of years back for a massage, facial and pedicure. I was completely underwhelmed. He seemed to forget that, and got me another one a few weeks ago (this time for a scrub, massage and facial). My first visit wasn't great, but I'll write more about the second since it was so recent.
My husband this time bought me a certificate for a scrub, hot stone massage and facial. Upon getting there, the inside did look better than the last time. I was taken back to get the scrub, and this was the highlight of my day. The room had a shower in it, and after the technician scrubbed me down, I got wrapped up and left to relax, which I did. After that, I was taken to a waiting room where I sat for about 15 minutes.
My masseuse, a man, came over to tell me he was sorry, but that he didn't realize it was a hot stone massage so I had to keep waiting until he heated them up. Now, besides the fact that I had to sit and wait longer for something that should have been taken care of prior, I was not thrilled with a male masseuse. I have had massages done at other salons, and I've always been asked if I am okay with a male if there was one on staff. Lynn's did no such thing.
Once I was in the room, my masseuse applied way too much pressure, and several times commented (without prompting) that he "hated hot stone massages" because they messed up his flow. Um, sorry? I guess he had run over the time, from not having the stones hot in the beginning, and so before he had finished my whole body massage, he abruptly stopped and said "Oops, I lost track of time. You're done".
That was it, my massage literally ended just like that. My facial was, meh. Again, I've had facials before, and my technician rushed through it. I had a feeling I was her last client, and sure enough, as soon as she was done, she put on her coat and rushed out. I didn't even get a chance to tip her, thank her, etc. Is Lynn's horrible? No. But for the money they charge, it is certainly not up to par.

We had an appointment on a day when a winter weather advisory was put in place. We called to cancel the appointment because of the potentially unsafe conditions. We were told we would be charged a cancellation fee! I was in shock! My wife called and was told it was simply heir policy! I was livid and called back to discuss how unreasonable the policy was when there is a winter weather advisory in place!
After discussing for several minutes the manager eventually relented and decided to remove the fee so this turned out the way common sense should but with this type of customer service I will never return here.

I went here just a day ago for a men's facial, manicure, and pedicure. Making the appointment was easy. The receptionist over the phone was polite and they took my information without any challenges. The location is on the first floor of a building across from Howard County Community College. Parking is abundant and the area is safe. The spa itself is clean and there is a waiting room that is quiet, dimly lit with snacks and water.
It isn't the most modern of places, but it is sufficient. As far as the facial went, mine was done by Sharon and she did an above average job. I would recommend her for new customers as she is experienced, calm, and knows what she is doing. The manicure and pedicure were average at best. The service was the same at any cheap nail salon in the area and the technicians were simply rushing people out the door.
If you are looking for nail services, I would look elsewhere. It is important to note also, that there are different prices for cash and credit - and the difference is more than a few dollars.

I tried this spa while visiting a friend. I wasn't really that impressed. The prices and menu suggested a special & pampered atmosphere- it wasn't. The room I was in for a wrap service looked like someone's house, and there was another lady in there. It was pretty ghetto. The technician (?) was very sweet though. Also when I checked IN the receptionist had me put my gratuity in an envelope prior to the service, which I found odd. That makes no sense at all. Would not recommend.

Very cute spot! Went with my boyfriends sister for our Christmas present: Facial, manicure, pedicure! (yes, my boyfriend is unreal!) The ladies were all very sweet and allowed us to be our girly selves and take pictures. Kait wanted to upgrade her facial to a peel and it was no problem at all. We both had a great time! My only issue is that it is not all that inviting from the outside. Maybe this is because I live in Arizona where spas are relaxing from the first time you lay eyes on them. I am sure I will be back the next time I visit MD
