Rub Me The Right Way Massage

Super frustrated! I tried to do something really nice for my wife and buy a massage package for her for Christmas. I spent $180 buying a few massages. In the chaos of Christmas, the gift certificates were misplaced and not found until the following year. By that time, the marked date on the gift certificates had expired. Despite it just being a handwritten expiration date, they wouldn't budge, or honor ANY of the massages.

I could understand, if there was some huge discounted price on them to only get the paid-for value, but to not honor a single massage when over $180 cash was given to them is RIDICULOUS! The person at the front desk told me that there was no manager or owner that I could speak with about it. I will definitely tell everyone I talk to not to do business with this company.

No ambience! The two times I've gone they haven't done much to set a relaxing mood. Dimmed lights, music, aromatherapy.none of that. Just not my type of atmosphere to get a massage. Plus, they can cancel your appointment for whatever reason which is not professional, so I won't go back.

I received a gift cert. for Valentines Day '21. The gift certificates expire apparently so I tried to book an appointment before the expiration date. I called 4 times throughout the week, but no one answered. The phone system apparently doesn't take messages either, it just hangs up after a prerecorded message. So I emailed them on their website, but got no response.

Finally I was able to get thru on the date of the gift certificate expiration date. I explained my struggles in connecting with them and was essentially told that's just tough luck because their arbitrary expiration date on the gift certificate is set in stone.

I haven't been here in over a year but was gifted a gift card by a kind woman I don't know I have been trying to schedule an appointment for a while but every time I have an appointment made I later get a call saying it's been canceled and I need to be put on a wait list, I know covid is making things difficult and places are short staffed but I lost my husband 10-17-2021 and I'm just wanting some me time and relaxation to rid myself of the stress that I've been dealing with so please when there is an opening I hope I can get in, thank you to the kind lady for the gift card and thank you rub me the right way for trying hard to get everyone in and trying to keep your staff safe during our trying times

Critical: Communication The specials sounded great and I wanted to try them for a change of pace, but poor customer service canceled that out. I'll be sticking with my regular friendly and attentive place for massages.

I had a three hour massage this week. It helped me with my sciatica. I was surprised that a massage therapist could also help with TMJ. I highly recommend this place! This was perfect!

I had a deep tissue massage by Krystal today and it was wonderful, very relaxing. Certainly helped the tense muscles! Thank you!

A joke of a place! My wife and I bought a massage in advance. Covid hit and they were closed i understand but after they opened up they wouldn't honor our purchase we have called and called. Finally my wife got in communication with them to be told we were out of luck its been too long to use our purchase even though we have receipts poor business practice. Go some where else do your self a favor.

Best Massages in town! Dont sleep on the student massages either. Donna knows how to teach! All in all I love this place

Angelica was awesome! I highly recommend her she did a very good job. I went in with bad lower back pain and shoulder pain when I left I felt so much better.

If I could give this a negative review, I would. They are worse than one star! DO NOT use this company! My husband gifted me with a professional massage that cost $79. It was received during the pandemic of 2020 and the company was shut down. When they reopened, I did not feel comfortable going because I did not want a stranger touching me during to the fact that I have underlying health conditions.

Once I was full vaccinated, I called the company on 4/22/2021 at 2:45 to request an appointment. I was told that the would not be accepting my gift certificate because it had expired. I did not know that I only had two months to have my gift certificate honored and when I was told that over the phone, I told them that I only missed it by one week.

It expired on 4/13/2021 (without my knowledge). How was I supposed to know I only had two months? I never received a phone call from this company and if the are going to make up a new policy, I should have been informed. However, they were more than willing to take my husband's money and we did not get what we paid for.

Trayce was absolutely AMAZING! This was my first massage after about a year and my first being 3 months postpartum. I could feel all of my stress just melting away. This was a birthday gift from my dad, but I will 100% be booking with her again! I walked away from the experience feeling exactly how one should after a great massage. Best massage I've ever had! Was able to make an appointment for a couples massage the SAME DAY! I had Lannette for 1.5 hours for my first time massage and she was GREAT! She always made sure I knew what was going on, made sure that I was comfortable, and since I was a first timer she went out of her way to make sure she wasn't too hard on me! Felt great to have her work out all the knots that had been there for God knows how long!

Thank you Angelica for the perfect massage. You were professional, and did a exceptional job. I will see you again on my next trip in. I would recommend you to anyone. The atmosphere was perfect and all the staff was super friendly! Thank you again!

I had a 1.5 hour Swedish massage with Madison. It was wonderful! I could feel the months of stress melting away during the session. She is currently interning, but has the professional demeanor of someone who has been doing this job for many years. She visited with me before the session and encouraged me to speak up during the session if I needed anything. She said, "I can read your muscles, but I can't read your mind." Definitely recommend her and hope to schedule another appointment soon. 10/10

My husband and I came here for a couples massage, I had Maggie and he had Tracie. They were both so great! We felt so comfortable and relaxed. They were both so friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The environment was very relaxed, and the rooms were very clean. It was truly a great experience! Highly recommend them! Go ahead and make an appointment, you won't be disappointed!

I just want to brag on Maggie for a minute! Talk about an all around lovely person. I went in to get a massage at 40weeks pregnant trying to induce labor she was so sweet and got the job done for sure I went into labor the next day! She made sure to ask often if I was comfortable and made me feel really welcome. THANKYOU SO MUCH MAGGIE

I received a gift certificate for Valentine's from my husband for a one hour combo massage. Great customer service and very clean facility. I was able to get in the same day I called. Maggie was my massage therapist and she was wonderful! She quickly learned where my tender spots were and adjusted her technique accordingly. She got all of the knots out of my neck and shoulders and stretched my muscles really well. I feel like a whole new person! I will definitely be going back and asking for her. Thanks, Maggie!

NEVER book with them. They didnt call me until the morning of a surprise appointment for me (it was a birthday gift). But because I didnt know about it they took the money without offering ANYTHING. They dont call to confirm appointments beforehand (meaning a day or so before) to make sure they can just take your money. I've worked at a massage therapy place and rub me the right way is an absolute JOKE. dont waste your time on the phone with these people (they wont help you, just argue that you are wrong.so much for customer service) and dont waste your money.

This was my first time getting a massage here and Chrystal was my massage therapist. She did better than the spa I usually go to and it was cheaper! I highly recommend Rub Me The Right Way.

Would NOT go back. My husband gave me some gift certificates last Christmas, and I recently scheduled my last massage (hot stone, cost $75). Normally I get off work at 1:30 pm (I'm a nurse at a prison), so making a 4:00 appt would give me plenty of time to get ready. On this particular day, we had numerous problems with our offenders. I didn't even REMEMBER my appt with all the drama going on, so needless to say, I didn't call to cancel my appt.

I left work at 7pm that day. Yes, I know this was my fault, but the no-show "fee" was the entire amount of my gift certificate - $75. Other massage therapists list no-show fees between $20-$25 on their websites. ***********OUTRAGEOUS and COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE***************** Not only have they lost my business, but I will NEVER again refer friends and family to them.

I had a good experience with a deep tissue and sports massage. I recently had arthroscopic surgery on my hip and I have a lot of associated stiffness and tightness. My massage therapist was knowledgable and definitely helped. I'm going to visit for a second time soon.

Would not recommend any of my friends or family to get a massage here. I've gotten a few here and they are just terrible, don't waste your time or money.
