If I could give this place a zero I would. 1. I could never get anyone to answer the phone when I tried to book my first massage with them. It had to be through their website. 2. When I arrived, it was fine. I was there between 5-10 minutes early for my scheduled massage at 230. 3. It got to 2:40 and I asked the front desk if she was going to come get me soon.
They apologized and said she was running a little late. So, I sat back down. 4. It got to 3:00, and I went back to the front, waited patiently to see what the deal was. The receptionist said "she is still not out?" He said you could cancel and not get charged or still continue with the service with 50% discount. 5. I tried to be calm and say that this is a little annoying because this is my first time here and I just wanted to relax. 6.
I decided not to get the massage because I felt even more stressed than I was before I got there. So, I waisted about an hour of time with waiting and commuting over there for NOTHING! 7. I am not happy with this place. I used to be a massage therapist that worked at chain, so I know that this would not be acceptable at any other location. 8. I do not recommend anyone to come here.

Had a nice 100 minute Signature Massage here on Saturday, followed by a sugar scrub. For my massage, the quiet and ambiance were ruined by employees taking their lunch break in a room too close to the massage room. I was looking forward to a quiet and peaceful experience, but about 30 mins toward the end, it was disrupted by this noise. Didn't mind the Blue Angels overhead, as was expected, but when you hear people talking loudly, it's very distracting. Don't schedule a massage between noon and 1 p.m.
More soundproofing is needed for the rooms. Also, I feel like the sugar scrub was rushed and that she could have scrubbed harder. My fault for not saying anything. I'm just thankful I didn't have to wear the all-too-common disposable underwear and get hosed down afterwards! I believe the scrub was only 50 minutes by default, but I recommend they extend these to one full hour.
I liked how their questionnaire asked what kind of music or sound I wanted. Thought that was cool and have never seen that before. Form also asked if I wanted tea or water (I chose tea), though the girl at the front desk never offered me water, but did offer water to others who came before and after me. Both of my specialists offered me water, but I was never given or offered tea.
It would have been nice to see water or tea in the women's retreat room. Even bottled water would have been nice. Very important when you get a massage because of all the toxins being released. They had mini York peppermint patties in there, and which I thought was odd. Women's retreat room could also use more decor on the wall (or fabric) to make it feel more relaxing and cozy. It felt a bit stark and blah compared to other spas I've been to over the years.

The entire experience was wonderful! Paul, the owner, was so accommodating with our group needs, and the spa itself was such a magical experience. From the robes and sandals, to the glasses of wine, the little things went a long way! I would absolutely recommend this spa to friends and family. I will definitely be back again!

I've been to Spavia on three occasions and I must say I absolutely love it and can't wait until my next visit! I have gotten both massage and facial services done here. The spa is incredibly clean and inviting. It is in a very combiner location and has free parking. They really focus on making sure you are comfortable at all times- and I really like the added touches they have in place.
For example, you are able to select what type of music you want in your room as well as choose from multiple scents of oils when you have a massage. What really stands out to me was their customer service. I had some issues that came up and their team jumped on my concerns right away- which I really appreciated it. They really went above and beyond and helped rectify a situation that was out of their control. I highly recommend this place!

I came in with my partner for a couples massage and it was a wonderful experience. The facility is very clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. The masseuses were nice and well trained. We had a gift card and also purchased a membership, but we couldn't purchase the membership with the gift card, which is understandable, but the receptionist charged both our massages and the membership to my credit card instead of putting the massages on the gift card so that was kind of a pain to get sorted out. Luckily, Lisa, the manager there was very helpful and understandable.
After a couple days of looking into the problem she was able to get me my money back. Even with this minor issue, I would still recommend using Spavia. My partner used to belong to Massage Envy and we had a terrible experience there. My partner has highly commended Spavia as the better spa :

This spa lived up to the reputation. Very relaxing, clean, professional staff who are experts at what they do. I got a massage and facial and they were just what I wanted and expected. They have so many options of treatments and products depending on any need or skin type. Due to Covid, they aren't allowing as much as normal (using shoes, sauna, robes, etc.) but I was lucky they were even taking appointments at all. I can't wait to schedule another appointment soon as another personal treat.

My massage with Roberto was amazing. Very comforting, attentive, and was great with the pressure. My facial with Ariana was fantastic too. She's was so nice and my skin feels great. Check out is the reason for 4 stars. I had a gift card that more than covered my service. My personal card was used for tip only instead they charged $130 more on my card.
I didn't notice until I got an alert from my bank. I was told it would take 5-7 days now to be refunded. I then tried to use what was left on my gift card on product and was told I couldn't. Kind of put a damper on an otherwise great experience. Highly recommend Roberto and Ariana though.

My MT was amazing, made me feel completely comfortable, listened to my concerns, and gave me time to relax during a maternity massage when I know I haven't relaxed in months. I left there so happy and in tears (hormones) on how grateful I was to have had such an amazing experience. I'll be going once a month leading up to my delivery. Thank you again for giving me somewhere perfect to relax- I'm so grateful your spa was recommended

The team here is wonderful. I had a couple issues making it to my appointments and they accomidated me to the best of their ability with empathy and understanding. I've only had one other facial in my entire life and left feeling heavily caked in stinky product that did not make me feel good, refreshed or cleaner. This experience was SO much different. Melanie was so sweet and warming, she didn't use products that made me feel heavy and they weren't stinky. She cleaned up my blemishes and made my skin feel so so soft. I will definately be back as much as I can. Very very happy, will recommend.

My therapist cut my 80 minute massage short and only did 60 minutes. He asked 3x how how my massage was, didn't massage half of my body, threw the robe on top of me after massage, shut off the lights completely THEN turned them on to full brightness after my massage, massaged my knee caps, massaged my spine, did not have his mask on all the way.
The list goes on. In addition, my partner got a massage as well and they cut his short by 20 minutes. The therapist stated we were running late and couldn't accommodate the tardiness. But we were there BEFORE our appointment and had to fill out forms per the front desk, something that was not optional. Honestly the lack of communication and just general disrespect from the therapists, not just one of them, but both of ours was insane. The only reason this place gets anything above a 0 is because the women at the front desk were very pleasant.

Was gifted a hot stone massage at Spavia and it was such an amazing experience (granted, it was my first time having a hot stone massage). The environment was very relaxing from the moment you walked in. I loved that as a customer you can choose your conversation level (no conversation, conversation is fine, etc.) because sometimes you just want a little peace and quiet!
The scents they offered for the massage creams were nice (you'll have about 8 to choose from). The changing area was clean (clean lockers, shower area, changing stalls, etc.). I loved that they give you plush robes and some slippers to change into prior to going into the appointment. I loved the robes and the tranquil waiting area (tea is offered and a heated neck wrap).
The employees here are very respectful and seems to be very experienced. The hot stone massage was definitely a treat! For those who are heat sensitive, they will ask if the stones are too hot (they also place a protective layer between you and the rocks on your back. Not sure if this is the norm or if it's because I told her it's my first hot stone massage).
I loved how she focused the stones on certain "problem" areas on my back, which felt really nice against the heated stones. I also loved that there is a parking lot since a lot of places in the city do not offer that convenience!

Front desk staff was extremely welcoming and sweet; the dressing room and waiting room were very cozy and comfortable. I have been getting massages from Jess for years now and I absolutely love her. Even though I am quite young, I have very tight muscles, everywhere, and she is always super patient with them. First time I had been to a spa to see Jess, and I was not disappointed in any way at all. I had an amazing time! I will definitely be going again soon.

This was my first visit for a massage and facial, and I'm in my 1st trimester of pregnancy. After I filled out my paperwork, indicating that I was in my 1at trimester, the massage therapist took me back but didn't mention anything about my pregnancy - I thought nothing of it. When the gal took me back for the facial, she discussed facials during pregnancy, and was very informative and helpful.
After my services were complete and I was checking out, the receptionist informed me that my massage was comped because they do not provide massages for women in their 1st trimester. She didn't explain the reason why, so after I left I researched the implications, and found that most therapists don't provide these services during the 1st trimester because of the increased risks of miscarriage.
While I appreciate the massage being comped, this in no way compensates for the destructive way of operating the business. Neither the receptionist nor the massage therapist read the paperwork, especially as a first time guest, as neither of them made any mention of my condition and the potential effects of massage. This was completely irresponsible and destructive by all parties, including management.
While management approved the comp for the massage, I didn't see or speak to the manager. They didn't even explain their reasoning - I had to research it after the fact for myself. Absolutely dissatisfactory and unacceptable.
