Tranquil Touch Spa has quite literally been a dream come true for owner Melinda Taylor. Growing up, Melinda had recurring dreams about feet that eventually compelled her to confide in her trusted teacher, who suggested she explore the practice of reflexology. Through her subsequent study, she discovered a gift for healing not only through reflexology, but massage therapy and other practices as well. She found herself so drawn to the healing arts that she went on to earn her degree and began working as a certified massage therapist.

In Sanskrit, Tulasara means moving toward balance and is inspired by Ayurveda and the Ayurvedic approach to healthy, balanced skin in both men and women. A therapeutic massage is great for a client with specific conditions, problem areas that cause pain, and/or limited range of motion. This full-body massage is combined with aromatherapy. Your therapist will customize your massage with essential oils and products and will use a moderate to firm pressure to give you the best experience possible.
This is not just a manicure-this is hand therapy. Experience customized care for your hands, including proper maintenance and grooming of nails and cuticles, personalized massage and customized exfoliation. Had appointment booked for 4 months for me a my wife. Drove an hour to Fort Wayne and planned on having a nice Valentines weekend with my wife. Got there and they told us the message therapist didn't show up today and they cannot perform our services. Couldn't have anyone else do the message and we should get a call from the manager. Follow-Up they sent us $80 gift card probably will use it and schedule another message.
I'm glad they called my wife and listened to us from our side of the story. I'm also happy they read these reviews and wanted to Do what they can to change our minds at what we think of them.

Love this place Tranquil Touch Spa is the Best place for a spa day! Very relaxing when you get a massage or facial! Very happy and relaxed. The staff is very friendly and helpful and tranquil touch spa is very clean. It's beautiful inside and the atmosphere Is very peaceful and quiet. AMAZING DAY FOR A SPA DAY HERE! Plus, the prices are amazing! Love it here

This was my first time at this spa, and I got a glycolic peel. Brittany was amazing! She was very informative, made great product recommendations, and was very knowledgeable on skin concerns/skin care. Absolutely wonderful! I've been to Tranquil Touch multiple times, and every time has been great; however, my most recent visit to the DuPont location was fantastic. I had two ladies working with me, both of which were very kind and professional. The services I received were lovely, and I look forward to receiving them again soon. This was the first time that my wife and I got a massage with this establishment and let me tell you, I was less than impressed. I doubt we'll be back. In my experience with other establishments, the goal had been to make the client feel relaxed from the moment they walked in the door. This was not my experience with Tranquil Touch. The lighting was bright and harsh.
As for the massage, my wife and I got a couples massage; my wife said hers was so-so; mine however, was subpar. I'm not sure if the masseuse was inexperienced or if she was uncomfortable massaging a male or some combination of the two; but the massage felt half-assed (pardon my language) or lazy. Communication was non-existent between my masseuse and I.
I was given no warning before the hot towels or the hot stones were used. My wife's masseuse offered her a choice of the oils that were used and asked if the bed temperature was ok. I was never offered these choices. The only words she spoke to me were to ask me to flip over. And at the end asked me if I heard the other masseuse say the session was over, which was whispered to my wife.
Barely any attention was given to my target areas that they asked about prior to my massage. Unlike every other massage establishment I've been to, my masseuse did not even move my arms or legs when she got to them. She would gently tap me and I would move my arm in to place. My arm was also never lifted like other places to. Also, the masseuse never massaged my chest or thighs like the other one did for my wife, and that is typical at other massage places. Finally, I feel that my masseuse barely applied any pressure during the massage. Overall, this was a rather unpleasant experience.
I would recommend spending a little more money and going to a better establishment. This was a splurge for our anniversary and in retrospect I wish I would have spent the money elsewhere. This was not worth what we paid for it.

I'm really loving that Tranquil Touch has a second location and a bit closer to home. Their new location is almost identical to Maplecrest and much quieter I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who confirmed my appointment and was whisked away to my massage room. Annmarie, my masseuse introduced herself to me and asked what aches and pains I had, we talked about level of pressure I liked and left me to undress. My 90 min massage was absolutely perfect, the firmness was all throughout the massage. I have plans to keep going back to Tranquil Touch and Annmarie.

I have been to the SW location multiple times. They are very inviting and the atmosphere is really relaxing. I have had both relaxation and therapeutic massages here. I woke myself up snoring multiple times during the relaxation massage- it was amazing! The therapeutic massages are by far the most effective I have had. I've tried almost every spa in the area. Tranquil Touch therapists have delivered consistency in the level of service and effectiveness of my massages unlike any other spa I've tried.
