Over priced and not that friendly faces and especially the facial service worst that you can imagine, no face, head and shoulders relaxation massages. Body massage can be just okay. not gonna go back.

Have you ever felt like you were playing in the clouds or floating? Well, you need to get to Little Day Spa. The ladies are so nice, it's legendary. This is sarasota's best kept secret. This is my wife's favorite place and she will not go anywhere else! I started getting my massages there as well.

What a wonderful find! Maureen, the owner is a gifted professional who can make your skin glow with her amazing facials! She is a delight to talk to and knows her craft! Margaret Ann is also gifted but in massage therapy! Wow! She really has the feel to know what muscles need tension relief! I have had 4 facials, two massages and a beautiful manicure at this treasure in Sarasota. I live in Arizona and book my appointments whenever I come back! You will not be disappointed in this gem, or the lovely and caring professional women who run it!

I LOVED this place. I had the best facial, mani-pedi and went back for a massage. It's definitely convenient for parking and a spa break during your day!

The experience was very nice. But was really disappointed when I found out the same spa package I had last year that included lunch. No longer includes lunch my friend and I skipped breakfast with the expectation of having lunch after our massage so unfortunately we're very hungry during our 5 hour experience.

Very cramped walk in and we assumed the relaxing area would be in the back somewhere. Nope. Had to wait for our 90 minute massage watching the nail table 2 feet away from us in very small hallway like spot, fully clothed. Massage with Connie was good - but she was annoyed this day. Paid $140 to annoy someone and unimpressed with salon. Also, the homeless people on the way in are getting out of control!

I got a surprise gift birthday gift from my husband.the number 3 package $375. I walked in the door a woman greeted me (not a very warm welcome) she has me fill out paperwork and then I go with her to start my spa package. I did not find her friendly, I thought she was rude and very short with me. Next I go to have a facial and full body massage with Connie.she barely said 2 words to me but a least she introduced herself. Massage and facial was mediocre.

After I was done I go to have a Mani and pedi with the same lady who started my spa (Still not friendly) She brings lunch (that was part of the package) with tea in a paper cup and sandwich on a plastic plate. For that price you think you would have a glass mug and dish. This place didn't make me feel welcome. Made me feel uncomfortable. I would never be back or recommend this place to anyone! Very disappointed!

In Sarasota we have an abundance of day spas. The one that I feel consistently provides a 5 star experience is The Little Day Spa. The staff is welcoming, pleasant and professional while the atmosphere is always a relaxing oasis. Also, the fees for the various services and packages are well priced. The massage therapists, estheticians and nail technicians are trained in multi techniques and educate their clients in how to best care for their skin and bodies.

And they continue to research new products and opportunities to expand their services. Do not hesitate to visit The Little Day Spa to experience the best Sarasota has to offer.

I received the #1 package and was completely satisfied! The aroma therapy was nice, a little nervous to sitting in a box, but it was a nice experience. The back massage and facial was very nice, she got all the little knots and kinks I didn't want to get off the table! My manicure came out better than I expected and I just had an overall wonderful experience. Great people working there, relaxing environment. Definately recommend!

2 stars because they fit me in day of, otherwise 1 star because she burnt & bruised me! I got a Brazilian here & I have never had this happen before. So much pain. Will not be coming back.

I was given a gift certificate to this spa based on the online reviews. What a DISAPPOINTMENT! I had a $250 gift certificate and wanted to use part of it for a pedicure and facial. I set an appointment for 11:30 this morning and ended up having an emergency with my son. When I called to cancel or reschedule at 10:00 no one answered the phone and I left a message.

They called back a little after 11:00 and said I couldn't reschedule my appointment and I would loose that money from my gift certificate. He said if I would have called back earlier he might have been able to work with me. I did call, and no one answered! They would not work with me and now I paid for a facial that I never got. Poor business practice and customer service. The spa was extremely hard to find on top of it. Horrible location, horrible customer service.

I had a facial for my birthday. The aesthetician while polite lacked warmth and was not very receptive to me asking what products she was going to use on my skin. I asked for a vitamin c facial and was told they could not do it since it was the daytime and one can only use it at night. The products used were greasy and the sunscreen at the end left an oily white film on my face.

I had to wipe it off when I saw what it looked like in the car. The hand massage was not good. I have had far better facials that come with a hand massage, foot massage and neck massage for $60 and my skin looked lovely afterwards. This was $80 and a waste of my money. Will not be back!

I wanted to something special to remember my last day in Sarasota for this trip. It was rather cool, 60* with a brisk wind, so I booked a facial and scalp, foot and hand massage. Last minute- they fit me in. Pat did a super job and was very knowledgable about my medical conditions to make me as comfortable as possible. A.though small and not fancy looking, I would highly recommend this day spa for massage and facials!

We are here for New Years week annually & this place is great for massage after a long week of tennis & golf. Pat is an awesome masseuse.

Let me begin by stating the spa was very clean and had ample paring right downtown. Two important factors. This was an extremely generous gift including tip who hoo from a friend I had helped out in a time of need. It included steam, massage, facial, mani pedi and lunch. My massage was excellent and the best part of the day! Margaret Ann was my masseuse and I do recommend her. Pat however did my facial.

I do not recommend her. The facial was short, not relaxing and not very through. Pat never announce when she was shining bright light on my face which was somewhat starling, or when misting or anything. There were no warm mitts with lotion to soak your hands while getting your facial, no foot, declotage, or shoulder rub. Lunch definitely was something from a pizza place.

Not the spa fair one would expect. I had the chicken salad which was laden with mayo, served over iceberg with saltines. As one other observer noted there are 79 day spas listed in Sarasota, you may wish to try one of those.

Starting with the appointment scheduling I found the receptionist to be cold and impersonal. Clearly she was only concerned with collecting money for their over-priced services! The spa itself was relatively clean, although the reception area is very cluttered. The nail tech was professional but my nails were left crooked and uneven and the gel polish which normally last 10-14 days, began peeling off in 4 days.

The staff there seemed tense and unhappy which made me feel stressed, exactly what I was trying to avoid. I would not return. This town is full of salons and spas that are clean, pleasant and provide superior customer service/pampering.

Sometimes franchised spas can be so "assembly" line. Not so with the Little Day Spa! In fact, they have awakened my inner-Diva! This is where I go when I need a special treat. It's very quiet, serene and relaxing. I've used a number of their services and was very happy with all of them. However, my hands down favorite is the micro-derm abrasion treatment.

I purchased the package of 6. Maureen is quite the pro. How nice when family, friends, and even, strangers comment on your skin! It's a must-have treatment living in the sunshine state. The team is very professional yet friendly and welcoming. It all started with a gift certificate that my husband purchased online. What a terrific gift! He no longer has a difficult time shopping for me. I'll be back.again and again for those special Diva Days.

I received a Spa Finder gift card, and used it here. Best. Pedicure. Ever! from Heidi. I had some nails that were growing crooked, and she's the first one to ever take time to fix them. Loved visiting with her as she worked. It is a little day spa, so some places are multi-function, but I loved the experience. Staff was very helpful and pleasant.

I had a spafinder gift card and found this place online. It had very positive reviews, so I thought we would try it out. I got a 80 minute Swedish massage with my boyfriend in the couples room. They were very accommodating and got us an appointment with less than 24 hour notice. Good massage, but not the best I have ever had. Although this place is in an office building, it it quiet and relaxing. The couples room was a little chilly, even with the sheet and blanket.

Was set in a nice location, although the area was a bit cramped. The service was good and the therapists nice, but I wasn't able to appreciate the "ambiance" of a Spa with the ambulance sirens going off outside. I was moved from one room to another after massage for the facial, and was set out of groove from the lighting change. If they had a little more room to operate, this place would be a nice get away from real life. They do work with what they have and you can't bash them for trying. Sweet people running it.

I had a gift card, made an appointment and showed up 10 minutes early to a locked door, no sign and stood in the heat for 20 minutes waiting for someone to answer the door. Like previous reviewer, no one at the reception desk, and they took a long time to let me in. No apologies, and certainly nothing special about my facial except that she manhandled my nose and brought tears to my eyes. Don't waste your time or money here.

I recently vacationed in Orlando, Florida. While on my way to the beach for a day trip with my family, I stumbled across this gem of a spa on foursquare. If you are near Sarasota and in need of some pampering, this spa will not disappoint!

For the money, this was a very average experience. A massage is one of those experiences, where even when it's bad, it's good. My experience wasn't bad, it was just average. But, if I'm going to get an average experience, then I will go where it is cheaper.

I normally go to a spa in Tampa and imo worth the drive. but I decided to stay local and try The Little Day Spa. It wasn't bad but it could have been a lot better. My microderm was interrupted twice due to the phone ringing with no one at reception to answer it. Also, I was also told their prices were better, because, unlike most spas you are not over charged for the massage part of the treatment.

For the $20 more I prefer the hour+ treatment with relaxing massage and aromatherapy to this 30 minute made into an hour due to interruptions with no massage what so ever waste of time. Not to mention I paid with a $100 spa finder gift card, giving me about $20 credited to my name that I can only use on another service.

What a great find! Flying in for a wedding, my boyfriend wrangled a free night to attend the bachelor party by buying me an awesome aromatherapy massage! Clever lad! Our flight was delayed two hours, and the Little Day Spa was graciously able to accommodate a later booking. Word of warning, it was a bit hard for us to find, since it's hidden away on the second floor of an office building, but this was only a problem for us because we came almost straight from the airport and were still a few minutes late. "No probs!" said Little Day Spa, "We're running a few minutes late ourselves!" I waited briefly in the very quiet waiting room before being ushered into the room.

As the masseuse started up, she made sure to check that, since we were starting late, was it okay if we ran a few minutes over? I briefly laughed at the idea that anyone would schedule something urgent immediately following a massage, but then remembered that I'd cleverly scheduled my massage immediately following a flight, so who was I to talk?

The massage was lovely - my masseuse even gave me a few relaxation tips (tense, moi?!) - and I left smelling great. So - leave yourself a few extra minutes to find the Little Day Spa, and then enjoy!
