My stay at the ranch was amazing. Each staff member greeted you with a smile and they are all so kind. The food was amazing. I really like all the classes they offer. Everything is so clean too. The rooms are comfortable and spotless. This stay was a gift from someone to me and I couldn't have asked for anything better, because Canyon Ranch is as good as it gets. Thank you Canyon Ranch!

This is like an adult sleepaway camp that feeds your body, mind and soul. Where healthy meals are prepared for you, you can get a fitness assessment, go wall climbing and play some pickeball, get some acupuncture or a coconut body melt treatment, and then spend the evening walking through the Berkshires or journaling at sunset next to the water fountains.
Even the art that's been created here is inspiring. It's a little bit of all that and more. It's truly a retreat - a luxurious one at that, but worth it as an investment in yourself and/or your relationship. (Bonus: meals are inclusive and very good; it's a no-tipping policy, and the level of service all around is phenomenal.) This is an amazing place that lets you get away from the noise so you can hear yourself again. Worth every cent and minute IMHO.

I cannot say enough about the positive experiences I had at CR. Whatever reset you need, be it physical, mental, emotional or spiritual, every single one of CR's staff and providers makes sure your experience is amazing. Each day exceeded my expectations - rooms are immaculate, quiet and peaceful. The food is simply divine. The classes are taught by experts in their field. This is truly an immersive wellness experience that goes above and beyond.

If the spa/wellness life is for you, this is your Mecca. Canyon Ranch is clearly the gold standard, offering an ideal assortment of massages, yoga, meditation, aromatherapy, Tai Chi, hiking, fitness, etc, etc. The facilities, lodging, grounds, and (uber-healthy) dining are unparalleled. The staff simply could not be any more helpful, gracious, and accommodating (with the exception of the inexplicably grouchy guy in the bell services booth). Be prepared, though, as this all comes at an extraordinarily hefty price. If you have the means, go for it.

This was my second trip and I must say I was a bit disappointed. The level of service has significantly declined and the property renovations compromised the heating and air units causing the entire spa to close. The staff did little to address the situation other than a we are "sorry". Renovations of that scale should be disclosed so travelers can make informed decisions.

As of Sept '21 they seem short staffed. Also, facilities are under some construction (e.g. no hot tubs during my visit) they didn't attempt to offer any compensation. On the plus side, the food was excellent and I appreciated the ability to order a second entree if a smallish portion size wasn't satiating.

A nice escape to help reset mind and soul. The pros: beautiful location; great gym and spa with excellent instructors (a shout out to Lori Carrol [sorry for phonetic spelling] for his terrific meditation and yoga/relaxation sessions); comfortable rooms; well-trained staff who are welcoming and pleasant. The cons: the "healthy" food was not top tier; restaurant was kept frigid as were the rooms and spa common areas; loud a/c unit in ceiling of hallway; gym lacked elliptical equipment that provided a longer stride for tall users; sign-up procedure for activities is first come, first served.reminiscent of need to get up at dawn to get a chaise lounge at a hotel pool; poor lighting for make up and shaving; music in restaurant for breakfast was not relaxing (not much better than elevator music).suggest something like Pandora stations "Pink Martini" or Diana Krall.
