Gail Felts is a Licensed Massage Therapist who offers nurturing touch through the form of massage therapy to Survivors of Abuse. Welcome to my web site and thank you for visiting. I am glad you are here to read about me and what I offer. Before you leave, I invite you to read a beautifully written piece by Flora Slosson Wuellner from her book, Prayer and Our Bodies c. 1987 on the "Who Are You Body" page. It continues to blow me away. If unable to keep appointment, kindly give 24 hours notice. Otherwise, the full fee will be charged for the time I reserved especially for you.

Gail Felts is a Licensed Massage Therapist who offers nurturing touch through the form of massage therapy to Survivors of Abuse. I have been drawn to massage therapy since the late 1980's. There was a stigma of prostitution associated with "masseuses" at that time and I was reticent to pursue a career in massage therapy.
Massage therapy, the medical model, views the muscles from an allopathic tradition, in that some pathology exists within the musculature causing discomfort or pain. Typically, the therapist uses specific massage techniques to relieve a clients' discomfort, that to some people can be painful. Touch Therapy: Massage for Survivors of Abuse, is a slow and gentle approach that provides touch and massage to create body awareness and presence. Touch Therapy believes the pain may also be due to emotional experiences earlier in life.
