I made so much for the hydro facial. this facial was the worst. she even did not give me my full 25 minutes. Definitely not worth 200 bucks save ur money go somewhere else

Been coming here for years I love it, great service and very friendly staff, Shova is the best. however the owner not so nice, he's pretty rude and snobby. Other than that it's a great spa.

Unfortunately this establishment does not offer the services they have advertised on their Yelp page. Attempted to book appointment today or tomorrow for services that are listed here. however they only offer basic 50 min facial /massage. No tea tub soak They appear to be short staffed. No technicians available for their SPA Packages False Advertising. Is A NO For Me

I've just had the most amazing massage session at dtox dpa, for a trapped nerve in my neck. It was my third session and the feeling of release and deep relaxation was incredible. The gentle coursing of energy through my body was so profoundly relaxing I thought I wouldn't be able to get up! I've never experienced anything like it before.

Shout out to Jay-he puts a lot of work into his craft and provides top notch treatment, will be coming back for sure

I love spas and when I went to this one I was looking forward to it. It was OK, it wasn't bad but I was hoping something a little more. It's a bit smaller from what I would like but it had a lounge area and it was clean. The massage was OK, nothing super special. One thing that was a bit annoying was that we could hear others in the room talking since it was curtains and not closed doors separating those getting a massage. I didn't really like that aspect and it did help calm and relax me.

I booked a double length massage appointment with a male masseuse a week in advance after a hard work trip. I checked in, got changed, and a female masseuse called me in. I told her I requested a male and she said they didn't have one available and that the front desk person should have told me. I went out to talk to the receptionist and they tried to pass it to someone else and said someone should have called and told me before I got there. It was an awkward position to be put in (for both me and the masseuse), disappointing, and wasted half my day. It could have been easily avoided. I will not come back here.

My son gave me a gift card for Dtox when I came to visit him in LA. This is a small day spa with a beautiful atmosphere. Very calming, tranquil. My masseuse Scot was thorough and effective in releaving muscle pain from going to an all day music festival the day before my appointment. Would definitely go back while in the area again.

Please safe your money and go to an Asian own massage place, the worst massage/spa experience I've ever had. I told the staff I was not comfortable with a male Masseuse and they told me the only staff they have available was male, and if I would cancel my appointment I would get fully charged, and the only thing they could offer me was 20% refund, and the Masseuse was very unprofessional even though I kept telling him I don't wanna be exposed he kept pushing my blacker down until my chest was exposed I felt really horrible, and massage quality was horrible you could absolutely tell they're not trained professional. Very disappointing experience for the price point.

This place is so amazing. I cannot say enough about the friendly staff. It was such a pleasure coming here and one of the BEST facials that I have ever received. I have come back here at least 3 times since my initial visit and the service has not changed. From the comfy robes, to the nice relaxation area to having tea and snacks before or after your service.

Masseuse was attentive and did a great job. Really clean facility too. Would definitely go back.

Came to Dtox Day Spa as part of a Birthday Vacation Trip with my Mom. The spa is beautifully decorated and was very relaxing. But the best part was my massage from Korinne, she did an amazing job! I hadn't gotten a massage in a few months and working at Costco and being on my feet all day after awhile you just don't realize how tight and stressed your muscles truly are. Korinne addressed all my needs, with the tension in my neck, shoulders and hips, in my 80 minute deep tissue massage.

I seriously was floating out, after she was finished. Drank tons of water afterwards and the following day I woke up like a brand new women! Seriously a HUGE thanks for all that you do at Dtox Spa! I will have to come back again when I'm in the LA area :

Wow Korinne is a gift! Stop whatever you're doing and get the longest massage possible with her. I've been getting massages for several years and she is hands down the best. I can't wait to go back. I also got a facial too and it was awesome. Samantha asked me what I wanted to focus on (I love extractions) and she went to town. Some things to note: parking can be a bit tough (unless they have a lot!

I didn't ask or see one) and the changing area is very small and there's only one bathroom. There were lots of men today so it made the changing spaces tight with 2 people. The atrium is a wonderful place to relax and get ready for your massage/facial. I'll be back for sure.

Magnificent. That's the only word to describe my time here. This was my first visit and I did a 50 min massage and 50 min facial. Both blew me away. The care and attention that was given to my needs was wonderful. The space itself was so relaxing. After this visit I'm determined to come back.

I just got off the table at Dtox Spa and let me just say if and WHEN you go.you have to request KORRINE! She has HEALING HANDS and this is more than just a "job" for her. You can feel the love she puts into her work as a therapist. This was THEE best massage I have EVER received. She's attentive, communicative, intuitive, and EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL.

I love this place! I go for facials and love how the estheticians give you special attention to my skin. The girl at the front desk is nice and warm and facility is clean and sets you in a relaxing mood! This is definitely my go-to facial haven!

Absolutely the worst. They will steal your money. Horrible service from management to the receptionist. Completely unprofessional. Avoid at all cost.

I am so glad I found this little slice of heaven. I went in for a facial in hopes to help soothe a recent allergic reaction I had. Mary my esthetician was out of this world wonderful. I have never had a better experience, and I have had many facials and massages. And I mean nothing competes. 24 hours after my facial and my reaction is nearly gone - this post is mostly for Mary to know how wonderful and appreciated she is for her thoughtfulness and the care she provided. She made my skin feel like a million bucks and I literally cannot wait to go back.

Wow! The most relaxing 80 minutes I've had in years! Melissa was fantastic! I'm looking forward to next visit. I highly recommend this day spa.

Had a great experience here a few days ago. Got the best massage of my life from a Deaf MT named Brendan, and then got to use the sauna after my appointment. The waiting room area is really peaceful, and I love the running water fountains. I love that the use of the sauna is complimentary too, I wasn't expecting that added perk. Hoping to come back regularly and try some of the other services too.

I've been coming here for years and i've always had great experiences! It's always relaxing and everyone is incredibly friendly. I've tried almost every service and i've never had a bad one! Melissa is fantastic at facials and Corinne is amazing for massages! Highly recommend Dtox if you're looking to unwind and for a good service.

I pampered myself here on my hollydays. It was my first time and I'm so glad I did it. I had a massage, facial, and pedicure! They were all wonderful. The spa was clean and I enjoyed the jacuzzi, steam room, quiet room and outside patio with fireplace. I must go back soon! Perfect place for stressed out Los Angeles to decompress. The prices are amazing. The quality of the service makes you feel like royalty.

Went for a couples massage with my husband. His massage was EXCELLENT with a female therapist, mine was not great and I don't remember his name but I would not return based on my massage. Amenities were nice; hot tea, infused water, saunas, cute robe and sandals provided, etc. although I was surprised by the 8% service fee at check out considering the services aren't cheap.

Beautiful rooms, very zen decor, comfortable. However, my #1 complaint aside from my less than satisfactory massage was the room was FREEZING for both my husband and I. The front reception area was probably 80*F with heat blasting and the back treatment rooms were ice cold. Makes it very hard to relax when you're shivering.

I have been going to Detox for years and I love their treatments. Their staff are professional, friendly and provide great service. I love their facials. They never push their products but give great advice on how to maintain healthy skin. I love their relaxation space. It is awesome to have a space to relax, meditate and have a cup of tea before or after a service. I highly recommend.

I made an appointment on a whim for a massage and facial. I spent 2 hours enjoying the sauna and steam room, the other 2 for my treatments. I can't believe I just discovered this place. The staff was so sweet, everything was clean. My massage therapist Hannah and my esthetician Shova both did a fantastic job. They really focused customizing my treatments. I loved the receptionist Katie, she was so helpful and so sweet. I had little to no expectations coming and I'm just so impressed. You ladies are amazing!

Had an exceptional massage from Korrinne last night. If you're looking for a massage therapist who knows what she's doing and can work out problem spots, go straight to Korrinne, she's a true talent. I needed deep pressure to address a sore hip and Korrinne didn't disappoint. In addition to addressing my hip, she also got right into my computer shoulder. Korrinne was able to zero in on my problem areas, somehow eager to dig in, and carefully restore my muscles.

I left feeling incredibly relaxed and well taken care of and woke up this morning feeling great. Can't wait to get back in to see Korrinne again. Starting in the steam room was a definite plus -- it was clean and heated to a great temperature. Always love the calming environment that Dtox provides. Dtox is a hidden gem in Atwater -- treat yourself!

My daughter treated me for a package and I had Corrine. The massage was Amazing. I enjoyed the scrub and wrap as well. Thank you for a great experience

My sister and I visited this spa a few months back. We were both disappointed. The masseuses seemed like amateurs. It would have been ok if the massage was $40 but definitely not worth what we paid. Save your money and go to a better spa.

I have been to Detox a few times now and cannot recommend their masseuse Scott enough. I prefer heavy pressure for my massages, I usually get deep tissue and Scott did not disappoint! He did some traditional massage techniques along with stretching, all was fantastic. He was very professional and skilled! I highly recommend and will definitely be returning again soon.

Ok we went in yesterday for my mother in laws birthday and I almost feel guilty for how good my massage was. Corrine took care of me, she started by asking what areas I wanted to focus on and when I mentioned my shoulder was tight and I couldn't lift my arm without feeling a twinge of pain, her eyes lit up and she was visibly excited to get to work on a plan.

She confidently told me she knew what to do to fix it. I was hopeful but figured it was more of a chiropractic issue, but as my massage went on and we talked about where it hurt, where I felt the tension, where I was the tightest, she beautifully released as much tension as she could with her magic hands. Not only was she clearly focused on my problem, she was caring and even comforting in her process and explanation of what she was doing.

I woke up this morning feeling well rested and excited to go back to see corrine soon to work on my other shoulder! All three of us enjoyed our massages, our time in the sauna, the calming serene atrium and we'll definitely be back!

If there was a zero stars I would give it to them. It was the worst massage of my life. The place is clean and nice but the massage was the worst. From the beginning I asked her to be careful with the pircing on the back of my neck and she hurt me twice. There were moments that seemed that she fell asleep while she was massaging me. It was a lazy massage and it seemed that she had no idea what she was doing.

At the end the girl at the lobby gave me a discount because my "unrelaxing" time, but this is not about money, it is about someone doing a mediocre work. I went with my boyfriend and he also has some complaints about it!

I got a massage today with Corin and it was perfect. She asked beforehand what I was looking for and then tailored the massage, it actually ended up being cheaper. She was so attentive and made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed. The face massage felt incredible. Highly recommend this spa and Corin!

My go to place for dumplings to cook at home. The employees are taking extra safety precautions during the COVID19 out brake. Their doing great job of keeping everyone safe. Before the out break they would use mask, hair nets and gloves.

Dumplings are my thing. It took me a while to come around to that idea and that's a shame because my Grandma no longer folds her own. Instead, we can head over to this place and peruse each cooler. Or.one can look at the list of dumplings. This visit, a worker actually came up to us and asked which type of dumplings we wanted. Turned out that they had none bagged up but they were loose on a tray in one of the freezers.

So after six months of living in LA and not having dumplings in my freezer for "ugh, it's late, i'm hungry, i don't want to cook but i don't want to go out" problem solving, I finally broke down and did a little Yelping for dumplings, just in time for Chinese New Year.

Excellent massage. I walked in and got an appointment straight away and it was the best i have had in a long time. I will definitely go back again. Anna was my masseuse and she was wonderful.

They are good. But if u asking for deep tissue massage. It should little hard. Especially on mens body. They are pretty soft for guys. They need more. Otherwise everything is good. Parking is hard to find in that area. But arrive there early you might get some where.

What a peaceful/great spa. Love the icy cucumber water & the clean sauna. I have been now two times (once for my hubs bday & another time for my own.) Received the 4 hour long couples treatment in September and it didn't disappoint. I was scrubbed, rubbed, wrapped, oiled, pampered & left floating on cloud9. As for my bday treatment a month later: Well.

It didn't stand up to the first time. My bday massage was supposed to last an hour (I know was 10 min late) but my therapist ended it 8 minutes early. I thought that was strange. Besides that, the facials are always tremendous & I notice my skin glowing when I leave. If I had to nitpick, I'd say I wish there was more than one toilet in the ladies locker room. Seems like a lot of traffic in one bathroom for the massive size of this spa. I wish you could give half stars because I'd rate this a 4.5 out of 5!

This spa is relaxing and has a great atmosphere. The massage was fantastic! I went right before my wedding and it was amazing. They were so sweet and accommodating!

Three weeks ago I made an appointment to have a custom massage done after using the facilities and relaxing I met my massage therapist Korrine who took the time to chat and listen to what my issues were with my shoulder and clavicle area. Korrine recommended I have the Swedish massage. She asked about pressure during the massage and knew exactly where the tightness was.

When she started I was in pain but by the time my massage was finished she had worked her magic! I came away feeling like a different person. I would 100% recommend Korrine and will be making a point of seeing her on my next visit. Thanks a million Korrine, sorry I was late with my review - Debbie Fox

Dtox day spa is hands down the most amazing spa I've been to! I'm from San Diego, and the drive up is worth it every single time all of the ladies here are such sweethearts; from the front desk, to the masseuses! If you're in LA and needing some tlc, I HIGHLY recommend making an appointment here! Also, Austin the owner is incredibly kind and goes out of his way to make every client feel comfortable and taken care of! I can't say enough great things about this place.

This is the absolute worse. I booked a full day with my family for a spa day only to have our appointments canceled upon arrival. I booked appointment for my wife and I, my mother and my sister. Each customer has a profile with there numbers and information saved. Especially because during COVID they are required to have your information on file in order to contact you in the event of an outbreak.

The reason they gave us for cancelling our appointments was due to lack of confirmation. Turns out the only number they tried to contact out of the four people who booked was written down incorrectly by one of their employees. At no time did they try to contact any of the other people that were booked even thought I called MULTIPLE TIMES throughout the week about these reservations.

Why on earth would I want to cancel They didn't try to call any other numbers to confirm and instead cancelled on us upon arrival. The manager Stephanie was the most unprofessional manager I've ever dealt with. She would not accept responsibility for her teams mistakes and kept stating it wasn't her fault that another employee cancelled our appointments.

Not only did she not offer us a solution but she THREATENED TO CALL THE COPS ON US if we didn't leave when we were asking what happened! We have been here so many times and have had a wonderful experience. I am shocked by the events that happened today. The only redeeming aspect of this lack of customer service was Scott the nice employee who ran after us on the street to apologize for his colleagues behavior.

They lost out on over $1500.00 worth of services and tips for those services and 4 repeat clients. If you're thinking of going to this spa as a gift think twice. so sad I really loved this place.

Did the couples massage and it was great! We were late the first time but still enjoyed it the second time we were early and man it was the best! They do such a great job! We have gone twice already and planning on going at least twice a month! Good way to bond with your partner!

Thank you for the excellent service provided by this massage shop. All therapists have been very skilled and knowledgeable. They have been very helpful in pinpointing problem areas and helped provide release. They have also suggested effective exercises to help with maintenance. They have also all been very friendly and professional, leading to a very satisfying, enjoyable massage experience.

I recently had the best spa experience here and I've already told all of my friends about it! I am normally pretty picky when it comes to spas but I was thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness, pleasant staff and peaceful vibes in this establishment. I had the best Anti-Aging Facial done by Mary. Then their lead masseuse Hannah gave me an amazing CBD massage and ended with a Soothing Full Body Wrap. The assistant manager Nicole was also great and made sure I had a great experience. I can't wait to go back again and I definitely recommend.
